I did mine with more of a puppy theme. And,of course there were no images of a Corgi on the paper I used for AWM and Kat's breeds, so I used different paper on that set of pages for myself.

And, here's the Epcot World Showcase book after I figured out how to do the slideshow correctly:

I express mailed mine today. I realized after I sealed up the box that I hadn't sent my money for return postage- Maria pm me as to whether I can paypal you or should send a check. I only sent my book for other not for myself. Things were crazy as my team leader from school stopped by we are meeting in the morning because we have to spend $3300 on books before the end of the week.

Sorry I didn't get on here yesterday to tell you they were postal...it's been crazy.

I ended up only sending the books for MazdaUK & AWM because Mr Cranky Pants was at the desk alone when I stopped in. He insisted the envelope was too fat & he didn't have any boxes. I know they keep them in the back and when I stopped in today for something else I asked & they handed me a couple. I was bad - I said "Oh - your new supply of boxes must have come in yesterday." After looking at me like I was totally insane, they said they haven't gotten any new ones in for weeks & aren't ready to re-order either!

So anyway, to shut him up I just sent the two. The bags are labeled. Thanks so much Maria!

Sadly, MCP is nowhere near retirement! He's probably in his early 30s!! (Of course now I'm because MCP reminds me of Tron [Master Control Program, who is evil - for those too young to have seen the movie]...having just started to read BOB's thread about abbreviations. Sorry Pretty in Tink - I couldn't resist that! LOL

As for DS - it's a good thing that weigh-ins were yesterday! My sister said he's gaining weight from chewing his fingernails! Not really, but he's anxious & the senior men don't compete until tomorrow. Their first day there was interesting...they landed in London at 8:40am (3:40 our time) and got picked up by a private bus that took them touring (Oxford & the Cotswolds) because they couldn't check-in at the hotel yet. I don't know what time they finally got to the hotel, but DSis said she crashed at 11pm their time...and the team went out to train!!! I guess it isn't so bad for the younger ones, but at 26 DS said he needed sleep at that point! LOL

DD - Well, the insurance kicked her out before the doctors were ready...saying something about her being "independent". I have no clue what that meant since she's 16 & was ambulatory when she went in anyway. Weird. She does seem to be doing better, but no one really knows why. She'd actually been better for a couple weeks before they finally admitted her. The neurology doctors had told us that sometimes their migraine patients get better over the summer...and that had happened last summer too. So we don't know if the program actually helped her or not.

We're choosing to be positive about it though. At the very least she's learned something about how to push through the pain...at least for physical activity. The physical therapist told us that there was no reason she couldn't attend school if she could complete the activities the PT had outlines while DD was there. The problem is that there's a huge difference (IMHO & in DD's opinion) between physical activity & concentrating on school work!

Either way, I'm glad she's home again! I missed her! Thanks for asking!

Well, tell DS, I'd have to agree that long flight would knock me out too!!! As for your DSis.. I would have fallen asleep touring even though it wasn't my intent!

What? Insurance is such a pain... Yes, there is a difference between concentrating at school and those activities.. I feel for her!!! I bet you are glad she is home...

Its good your daughter is home now, hopefully they have her on a maintenance drug to hopefully keep the migrains at bay. I too suffer migrains and cannot take any of the migrain medication out there, because I suffer rebounds from all of them. I end up in the emergency room with unbelievable pain, that I just want to kill myself! It is awful. The only thing that works for me is pain medication, sometimes barbituates. I am on a maintenance drug and I have to say it is wonderful, I am actually able to "Live" for the first time in my life since I started these. If I do get a migraine, it is never as sever as I used to get and usually only lasts about a day. I get them so infrequently now. I used to suffer with them every day. They started with me when I was about 15 or 16 years old. I do feel for her. Give her my best...

Piratesmate, DS(13) is camping with scouts at Stratford upon Avon - wouldn't it be funny if your DS saw them! His tour was probably fairly short because most of that area was still under water on Monday. But it does seem odd considering the distance they've all travelled not to just give them food and a bed (its all I'm fit for once I get back from your side of the pond). He'll be better off on the way back probably because you arrve only a couple of hours later than you elave despite all those hours on the plane

Maria - They actually had started to wean her off the maintenance drugs she was on because they felt the drugs weren't doing anything...even though we know the muscle relaxers were helping. (Some of these doctors just don't listen!! She was having balance problems - walking like she was drunk - for the first hour or so after each dose, so they reduced it and her pain worsened. It got better as soon as she upped the dosage again.) None of the standard migraine drugs have done a thing for her - but they've never given them to her at the onset. It's just that for the past 2 years, once she gets a migraine it won't go away! The first one lasted from Feb to July and the 2nd one started in late August & still hasn't gone away!! They're saying it's somehow "transforming" and she's left with "chronic pain that has no physiological source" - whatever that means. I'm glad you've found something that helps yours! I used to get them like you describe, but back then there was nothing they could give you for them. I'm lucky in that mine stopped after I had the kids.

MazdaUK - How funny would that be if my DS saw your DS at Stratford? LOL I kind of wondered about the flooding, but one of the Mom's made those arrangements at the last minute...no one could convince her that all they would want to do was sleep.

Hi Maria - I'm hoping you've just been too busy to post. According to the USPS site, the package was delivered yesterday morning. Please tell me it was delivered to you and not someone on the other side of town! j/k

BTW - It looks like old MCP got one up on me. I'd dropped it off at the post office on Tuesday morning, but I noticed yesterday morning (when I ws checking to see if it had arrived yet) that it said it didn't enter the system untnil nearly 4:30 on Wednesday!

I printed out that page & the next time I get over there I'm going to take it along with my DC slip & show them to the postmaster. I've about had it with this guy!!
