We are looking to book BLT on 13th 14th and 15th of November 2017 - I am guessing I am too early to ask you to check availability? - It would be a theme park standard studio room. thanks for your advice

Yes, it is too early but I can try to book that at the 11mo mark (book this December 13th for a November 13th 2017 start travel date- I would have that home resort priority and can book 11 months ahead of time). Would you like me to do this? If so, do you want a standard studio or a theme park studio? It will be harder to get a standard studio, but possibly not impossible.

A standard studio is the first 5 floors of the building, and can either face the parking lot or the pool/lake, or even be on the first floor. It oftentimes does not have a view, but one can get lucky although that is never guaranteed.

A theme park studio is more doable, and is on the floors above 5, and faces the parking lot/Magic Kingdom. You should be able to see the fireworks from a theme park view studio, but it is more points intensive.

Let me know if you want me to try for this, and which view or lack thereof, for you. I would try to book on on December 13th 8am.

One more thing-- is this from Dec 13-16 or Dec 13-15 (meaning you would stay overnight on the 15th or leave on the 15th?).

I will give you some details of our vacation plans to get you in the picture, we are having. A split stay and have a villa booked for 12 nights and a Disney 3night cruise but wanted to add in a couple of Disney on site stays too... So eventually decided on BLT for the last 3 nights of our stay which would be to stay three nights the first being the 13th of November and leave back to the airport on the 16th November. (2017)
We would love a theme park/ parking lot studio. we will be be two adults and two children

Would you be able to advise me of the cost and points totals for this stay.

I can book the rooms on the 11th mo mark on December 13th for you-- I'll actually be in Disney from Dec 3-16, doing a split stay between BLT/BWV/Poly. My homes are BLT and BWV, but we have some leftover banked points that we wanted to rent out before 2/1/18!

So the point values for studios from November 13-16, 2017 are:
Theme park/parking lot: 63 points $882
Lake view: 54 points $756
Standard: 45 points $630

I know you said Theme Park view, but wanted to add the others just to provide more info in case you're interested in the others instead!

I'm not sure if you'd consider a transfer but I need 16 BLT points with a 2017 UY to complete a vacation. I have six days already booked but wanted to add a seventh and I'm 16 points short. Let me know if you're willing.

I'm sorry looks like dvc does not allow transfer of banked (or borrowed) points. They must be current use year. I no longer have any points for this use year bc I banked the remainder last month.

Since you're looking at 16pts, you can also buy one time use points from Disney at the 7mo mark for $15pp. It also has to be done via phone through member services. I know this doesn't help with the 11mo priority but it isn't a total wash.

Hi! What room category are you interested in?

If studio, there are standard studios available (! harder to book because of the low point costs) for all three days, at 42 points. Otherwise Lake view at 51 points, or Magic Kingdom views at 57 points. Please email me at my username at gmail.com for a quicker response.
