...perhaps you can help me out....I'm looking to possibly rent points for Christmas Week (Dec 21 to Dec 27 or 28) and I'll probably be needing a Studio (?) for my DH, my DS, and myself. I'd like to stay at AKV (either Kidani or Jambo would be fine) but I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how many points I'd need....can you possibly assist me? I seem to be getting nowhere on these dang-blasted Boards - I even tried to start a thread asking for help and it disappeared!

Hi Kimmar,
I will try and help. Planning a vacation to Disney can be mind-boggling--then when you are talking about renting points that can add to the confusion so I understand where you are coming from! I'm hoping this won't confuse you more, but there's a lot of info I need to explain about what you are looking at:
Your dates are two different "seasons" as far as Point usage, Dec 15-23 is "Choice" season and Dec 24-30 is "Premier" season so that is going to make a difference in the points.
There are many different classifications at the Animal Kingdom--Jambo or Kidani is your first choice, then you have "Value", "Standard", "Savannah" and "Concierge" level rooms. Though at this point--all of those will probably not be available---we'll be lucky if we can get anything to be honest. Right now I'm having a hard time getting into the online reservation center. I'm going to try back in a little while and I'll let you know what's available. I hope I cleared up a few things in the meantime

I am sorry but those dates are not available at the resorts you want through DVC. You might try someone that has an actual reservation for rent, as those are highly popular dates. Good luck! If your dates change, let me know!

I'm sorry, BWV and BCV look to be sold out for those dates. They had a studio for one night of that week at BWV but that was it. Saratoga is available, but I know you said you wanted to be able to walk to EPCOT and you can't from Saratoga. Good luck!

I apologize--I missed your post yesterday when I checked the boards. WLV is not showing availability for a studio or one bedroom for the 19-24. SSR and OKW are showing availability for a one bedroom for the 19-23. SSR would be 116 points, OKW would be 102.
