Close to my Heart

I've used Stampin Up in the past but have sold everything within the last few years. I'm looking into getting back into stamping JUST my Chrismtas cards. BUT I want to get back to my scrapbooking (it's one of my new years resolutions lol)

Do you use Close to my Heart? How do you like them compared to SU? How are the prices? I just contacted a rep and she's supposed to bring by a catalog, hopefully today. I plan on booking a home party and hope to get a few free things from it.

I have a few CTMH things, but I'm a complete 'ho for Stampin Up. I used to be a Hobby Demo and now I found out they are selling clear stamps! I have the Sale-A-Bration and new mini catalogs if you'd like me to email them to you, just PM me.

I don't stamp but I LOVE Close to my Heart paper and kits. I think the quality of the paper and stickers is top notch and I love their idea books. I've actually been considering becoming a rep just so I can get some discounted stuff! I think you'd be very happy with that company.

Well, Close To My Heart products are what I was introduced to and they are all I ever use. I really like that there is a variety of 60 colors - and the colors are consistent between cardstock, ink, marker, embellishments. So, if you choose to use the CTMH color Hollyhock (for example), then you have plenty of matching products to coordinate. Unfortunately, if you go to a general craft or scrapbook store - they are going to have lots of different 'pink' items to select from, but you may not be able to find 'pink' items that actually coordinate together.

Also, just love using the clear stamps! To be honest, I was very skeptical when the company announced the change from wood-mounted rubber to clear, acrylic. But once I started using the stamps, I can't imagine using a wood-mounted stamp again. And all of CTMH stamps/papers/embellishments are high quality products, but maintain a reasonable price.
