Close to my Heart Questions

Hey Everyone,
I went to my first Close to my Heart show and demonstration last night and have to admit I was very impressed. I love the little stampers and ink pads altho I've never gotten into stamping. I also like the papers that match in one kit.
I'd like to hear your opinions on it and see what ya'll think about the articles.

I have tons of stuff from Stampin Up (which also sells coordinated inks/cardstock/paper) and some from CTMH. I like the rubber stamps from SU better.... seems like I still need some improvement in my acrylic stamping technique.

I'm much more of a scrapper than a card-maker, so I tend to buy stuff that can be used on my pages, like alpha stamps or multi-use images. As far as coordinated stuff goes, they do have some really cute stuff. There's one that is lime green that is great for a Buzz layout.

my girlfriend had the CTMH stamp sets at a crop yesterday and was raving about them. She owns over 6,000 stamps so I think her opinion is pretty good. I liked the way you can see where you are placing them.

Hello! I have been a stamp addict for many years. I have more stamps than I have counted. I first saw the CTMH stuff in the fall of last year and was SO impressed. I love how little space they take up!!! The acrylic makes it easy to see exactly where you are stamping -that's been my complaint about wood mounted stamps for so long.
I had a difficult time getting stuff as my local consultant was about 35 min away and not very interested in continuing with the business. I was so desperate to buy some more stuff, that I signed up as a consultant. I've only just done my first party but so far I like it. I'm not much of a sales person but I really love these stamps and I find they are so easy to use. I wish that I could magically make all my stamps acrylic!! Just imagine the space I'd save! Hmmm, I could buy more stamps...yeah, that's an idea!

I have bought their stamps and used them on several cards. I like them a lot better than the wooden ones. I also bought some page kits and I like them a lot too.

Thanks for all the great responses. I'm thinking about the acrylic stamps alot! Maybe I need to put them on my Christmas wish list! I LOVED the beach paper pack and since I have A TON of "beachy" pictures that I need to scrap, I could use them up FAST! Do they have adhesives? If so, has anyone used them?

My cousin is a CTMH consultant, I haven't used their products except for the eyelets. Love the eyelets and the eyelet organizer. There are 48 different colored eyelets and a bigger variety than I can find at my LSS.

My cousin does buy her albums from me though (I am a CM), she doesn't like the quality of the ones she sells.

So its nice that we can help each other out with our own scrapping business.

I also really like the stamps. I don't own any, just haven't gotton into it yet.

I have used both Stampin Up and CTMH. I like Stampin Up but I hate cutting them out and putting them together. I love the acrylic stamps - especially the alphabets. I just became a CTMH consultant and my cousin is a Stampin Up consultant so we have a lot of stamps between us and we both like the variety. I just tend to lean more towards the acrylics (much easier to store and carry to crops).

I'm an Exec. Mgr with CTMH and have been with them for over 5 years. I LOVE the new acrylics! They are so easy to use, so much less expensive, take up less storage space, and coordinate with the scrapbooking kits SO well. I had so many wood stamps when we switched over to acrylic 18 months ago. I was in a bit of a panic...but now I NEVER use my wood stamps. Today I just helped out at a craft day at my church and brought my acrylics. Everyone was surrounding my table just amazed at how easy they were to use. I also love our scrapbooking kits!! We've just gone to an online shopping format so that is something to check out as well. It's been really fun to have my sister get on my website in Phoenix and browse the online catalog while I'm in Indiana ooohing and aaahing with her over the fun images. I absolutely LOVE the acrylic stamp sets. I'll never buy another wooden stamp. I love that you can see through it and place it exactly.

Just last night I used their paper for the first time for a beach page. Very nice colors!

I got turned on to CTMH when it was DOTS and fell in love with their albums. They are still my favorite.
