Congrats. The nice thing about BWV is the standard view villas that don't require as many points, but you usually need to book early to get them. We have three kids between 9 and 14 and always stay in 2BRs. When we bought five years ago we thought we'd start out by staying in 1BRs, but that plan went out the window quickly - on our very first DVC stay, in fact. For us, having at least two bathrooms and two bedrooms while staying on site is what makes DVC worth owning. Even the 1BRs that sleep 5 and have two bathrooms are not all that appealing to me for five unless just for 2-3 nights. I agree with buying BWV if that is the area you love. We bought at OKW partly because they were adding the sleeper chairs and we could sleep five in a 1BR, but if I had to do it again I might buy BWV since our staying in 1BRs never ended up happening. We do love OKW, but walking to two parks is great and OKW is easier to book at 7 months than BWV.

Thanks all. I am excited and pleased to see how excited my husband is too. He really loves staying at BW. We went for ROFR on November 6th. People have been hearing back really quickly so I'm hoping to hear in a couple of weeks. My contract is a bit loaded but price is pretty typical so hopefully sails through.

We are hoping to close in time to book a 1 bedroom December 7-18th at our new home. By my calculations, if all goes smoothly, I'll be just about a week or so past my 11 month mark by the time I get my points.

I will also have 28 banked points that I will have to try and rent out will get in the swing of that pretty quickly too!
