I would love to see VMK open at 7:00am and close at midnight, in each time zone, but I don't expect it will happen.

If it's meant for the states, and thats where most of their customers/players come, why change it for the minority? I can never stay up with friends for closings. Thats just how it is.

Its fine for me. Since VMK HQ is on the west coast, 7AM is great. It opens at 10 for me, but thats fine. More people in the US play than outside.

Egad! I take my answer back! I enjoy having VMK open at 7:00 A.M. for me. When i get home, i can play vmk till 10PM

I’d say 99.5% of people that play VMK live in the US. It would be inconvenient for 99% of the people to move the time to fit the .5% of people that don't live in the US. I think that you are wrong for calling us selfish for wanting it to be convenient for the vast majority of people. They're not going to change the time for 5 out of 1000 people

My cousin who is living in Malaysia is complaining about it to. VMK use to open for her at 10.00pm. Now it's opening for her at 11.00pm. So, she has to wait for an hour. She sleeps at 10.30pm. So she can only play VMK on weekends, is that fair? Do you call that fair? Think again!

So 3 people. VMK can't cater to just you three.

i dont think she was suggesting closing earlier as well, I believe lovela was suggesting an earlier opening.

btw, if you are counting vmk-ers with a late opening time, you had better make it four. If you are counting people complaining, I am not one of them.

No one is "against" you. We just don't think there's any point getting upset over something that isn't at all likely to change. You just kind of have to find a way to work around it. My mother and I would both like to be able to be on in the mornings while we're having our coffee and winding up for our day, but since we both live in CST, where VMK doesn't open until 9am, I doubt either of us will ever get to. But we understand the reasoning behind why the hours are what they are, we accept it, and we play when we can.

our daylight savings time change, changed the hours for some people in other countries that dont observe DST.

So to them it appears the game time has changed

Im in Arizona and we dont change time ever so VMK is now open for me 8am to 11Pm but when you go back to the other time It is open for me 7am to 10PM.

On a good note its 5 1/2 hours drive to Disneyland but with the hour fall back Im on Main street in 4 1/2 (joke) What I really mean is I can leave work at 2PM Friday AZ time and be eating dinner on main street at 6:30 DL time instead of 7:30

This has the effect of giving me an extra hour of park time when the time is in Fall/Winter.lol Ill take an hour of park time anytime.

I'm not against you being sad, I am against you making a big deal over VMK not being open for you, and for calling the people of VMK selfish for not being open for you. VMK was made for the US. Also, VMK staff already has to get up around 5AM so that they can be ready for opening, and they have to stay after 10PM to get ready for the next day.

I don't mind really, because I can quit ballet whenever I want, but it's not fair, as I told everybody already that, people from the US are allowed to go to Disneyland America and people from everywhere else aren't allowed to do so. VMK IS A PLACE FOR EVERYONE!

Lovela, I do sympathize with you, really I do. My schedule doesn't allow me to play VMK at this time more than a couple hours per week, and I am in the United States. I know it stinks missing out on game time. But I am confused by the above comment. Anyone is "allowed" to go to Disneyland or WDW, whether they're an American or someone from another country on vacation, study abroad, etc. Living in the U.S. makes it easier distance wise to get to the parks, but many, many people never get to go. I live close to 1,000 miles away from WDW and am fortunate enough to go once a year lately, but I would love to go to Disneyland Paris. Sadly though, I can't because I can't afford it. I can't even afford a trip to Disneyland in CA, to be honest. So, it's not a matter of being "allowed to" or not; it's whether you have the time and money to go, and, if you're underage, whether or not someone will take you.

And yes, I agree, VMK is for everyone. But as far as we know the people who keep the game running are based in California, so naturally they are going to operate by their hours. Again, I get that it stinks for you, but I don't see a way around it unless they were to open other versions of the game for other countries on different time schedules or hire moderators from different countries as well.

You don't mind really? So what is all the complaining about? Anyone is allowed to go to Walt Disney World Florida or Disneyland California, there's no restriction that says if you live outside the U.S you can't go and as SorcererDonald16 said it is just a matter of if you can afford it. Some people would love to go to Disneyland Paris (even though Walt Disney World is better) and Tokyo Disneyland. VMK is just like WDW it opens and closes at around the same time because they are both in the U.S. I am getting bored of posting to this thread, I only do so to get these ideas into your head. Please stop shouting.
