Close hotel, comfy bed?

Yes, I did a search, and got lots of WDW advice. However, I'm looking for what you think is the most comfy bed around the DL resort area. I know Sheraton has the Sweet Sleeper beds, and those are great. What about CCI? Or Embassy suites? Or ????

I'd love to hear your experience with beds, as that is a prime consideration. I was thinking about Residence Inn, but after reading several reviews that said their beds are hard, now I'm thinking maybe not.

HoJo beds are comfortable, and it is an easy walk to the gates. There are a lot of links here about the HoJo, so you can probably hit a lot of info with a search. Candy Cane does have comfy beds, but quite a bit more expensive and I don't think as convenient.

The Carousel Inn and Suites has beds that feel like a cloud!!! Super soft! We stay there just because of the beds and the location LOL!

The Fairfeild Inn had incredible beds, the best I have ever had in a hotel room and walk is about 5 mins to gate, with a McDonalds in front of hotel.

I disagree ~ I found their bed no comfier than others and with it's high price totally not worth it IMO ~ HoJo does have nice beds and a great price *sometimes*

The Carousel does have nice beds, as mystic_path says, but I think they are overpriced for the rest of what they offer.

I am a complete convert, I always come back to the HoJo for comfort, convenience, and value!

Hojo, FTW! Their beds (in the premium suites, etc.) are sooooo comfy!! They are more comfy than anything we have ever slept on in our entire lives. Wow. Far more comfortable than our own beds at home.

I don't know when they updated their beds last; we stayed there in 2006. The beds were not the problem, they were quite comfy. But the room was cramped, the shuttle was unreliable, the walk seemed less pleasant to us than from the other hotels. Also, the breakfast was really not up to par, just some tiny danishes and things like that. Overall, we wouldn't go back at the prices they typically charge, but yes, the beds were comfy.

Just slept in a Hojo bed two nights ago.....and also, hands down, wonderful!!!!
Also, to be able to walk freely back and forth is great. Highly recommend it!

I've stayed at Embassy Suites, Sheraton, Crowne Plaza, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn and Suites (behind Parking Structure), Hyatt. The most comfortable beds were definitely at the Crowne Plaze. They also have a shuttle that runs every half hour. That said, the grounds are just okay and could use some TLC.

I agree, and we love both places. However, this time we were thinking of branching out and wondered what else was out there (and, frankly, GCH is soooo expensive that without a great offer/discount I won't stay there.)

Comfy beds and close walking distance were important to us as well. We are going with the HOJO!
