My 4 year old grandaughter is with me for the weekend. That means shopping, shopping and more shopping plus eating at McDonalds. (gag) Her only request this weekend is to buy Valentines for her classmates.

Hey, that's fun! What is her name? I teach 4-year-olds, you know! I love that age group!

Hmmm...maybe I will try that boullion cube idea. I do have some in my pantry.

I wish I could walk but I have heel spurs!

Brother and I both had heel spurs at the same time. We went to different drs. His recommended surgery and mine told me surgery was very painful and he did not recommed it. Brother had the surgery and said he would never do it again. Who knows

As for the boullion anything hot would work for me.

Her name is Jazmyne and I call her my sidekick. She is at the age she still loves to stay with me. She fell asleep watching tv in my room.

People have seriously different ideas about the surgery. Today I was talking to a coworker who said that surgery was the best thing ever.

All I know is that my heel is still super sore from the cortizone shot I got yesterday, and I never want to have to get one of those again!

I powerwalk for at least 5 miles a day in the summer. I get the winter blahs and don't feel like doing anything when it's cold! The buillon doesn't sound half bad. It goes along with the theory about eating a broth based soup before meals to fill you up!

Granny!* Your granddaughter is soooo cute! You must be so proud!

I think four year olds are a lot smarter than people give them credit for! I have mine doing things like reading simple sentences, copying full sentences from the board (they know you capitalize the first word of a sentence, user a finger space between words, and, at this point in the year, use a period or question mark), doing U.S. geography (my class can identify 25 states so far, along with the oceans, canada and mexico).* These things are not necessary at this age, but I say the kids like to be challenged, so why not do it?* It makes the parents think I am a fabulous teacher!
