Clinton having quadruple bypass surgery today

CNN just reported a diagnosis of unstable angina.

He will be undergoing surgery on tuesday & will be on anticoagulant therapy (plavix) between now & then (but obviously will br taken off prior to the sugery).

I wish President Clinton the very best. I feel for Chelsea and Hilary. It's scary knowing someone you love is going to undergo a bypass procedure.

Best Wishes to him through this surgery and recovery. As many here know, my FIL died after having Bypass surgery. It seems so routine nowadays but it is still dangerous. My prayers are with our former President.

I agree, that was disgraceful conduct. They should be ashamed of themselves. But I don't think Pres Bush is responsible for reprimanding audience members for their ignorance.

I hope all goes smoothly with his surgery. He is very young, hopefully that will work in his favor.

I was shocked to here the news on the radio as I was coming back from a business meeting. I thought he looked good and even lost a little bit of weight. Prayers to President Clinton and his family. I know he's in good hands, but he's undergoing major surgery.

I'm not sure where the reporter got his info, but I watched that statement live on TV, and I heard no boos at all.

I was just coming to report this too! I saw the clip on the news last night (not a story read online) and I heard no boos, only cheers.

Amazing how the media (whoever reported this story) tries to put a negative slant on anything possible. Maybe one person next to him booed??
