Hi all!! My question is most likely for the ladies of the DIS but was wondering..

I'm on the look out for a good BB/CC cream for when we go on our annual trip this year. I have my eye on the Clinique CC/BB cream but was wondering how it would hold up in the the hot florida heat. Has anyone used it? I would love some feedback before I go out and get it.

Guess there aren't too many Clinique users here. I have the Clinique CC creme and am on the fence about it. It's thick and difficult to apply evenly.

I usually use Neutrogena Visibly Even daily moisturizer. It's supposed to "reduce blotchiness & the look of dark spots" taken from what's written on the tube. It's what I use most often, it is a sunscreen also.
The CC creme is thick and doesn't spread easily. I've mixed the Neutrogena and the CC creme and am happy with that but it's more work than just using one creme.
I also have Clinique City Block Sheer and would use that before using CC in the parks.
I'd still rate the Neutrogena my favorite then City Block then CC mixed with Neutrogena. My opinion only. I have oily T zone if that helps.:)

I'm not sure about the Clinique bb/cc cream but a great cc cream is the one by IT cosmetics. You can get it on the shopping channel (or qvc). It is a more full coverage cc cream with lots of stuff in it that is actually good for your skin and anti- aging. I haven't tied it in hot weather yet but I think it will be good.

Love the IT CC cream! Available at Ulta.

I really like L'Oreal's Youth Code BB cream. Although the cream looks dark when it comes out of the tube, it's not that dark on your skin. I've found that some other BB creams make me break out, but I've been ok with this one!

I've tried dozens. As you age, less is more so I rely on an Amazonian clay tinted moisturizer bb cream by Tarte. I put their poreless 12 hr primer underneath. At the end of an 8 hour day of teaching high school in a barely air conditioned building in AL, still no shine. I do use Philosophy's supernatural airbrushed powder as well. The three together are perfection! Layering is key. A one-stop product never seems to work as well.

:) I don't know if this helps or not....I am 45 and a Mary Kay girl. I have very dry skin and recently purchased a Clinique foundation when my MK girl wasn't available. I am the type that the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer soaks right into. I have used the MK foundation primer followed by the Day Radiance foundation and really like it and recently two weeks ago started using the new CC cream that MK has out now.

As a girl of the 80's I am more comfortable with medium coverage but have really enjoyed wearing the MK CC cream on the weekends. It seems to blend in well and hides the dryness as well as gives me the coverage I want without being as heavy as the MK foundation I use.

I saw the It presentation on QVC and it looks good too.

If you enjoy wearing Clinique I think it is an awesome brand and would be worth at least a try. Could you get a sample?

:thumbsup2 Oh I live in Mississippi and these products seem to hold up down here.

I like CC cream more than BB cream (BB cream's texture is too much for me and my oily skin), and the CC cream holds up well in Illinois' summers. I would assume it would survive Florida's, too.

Thanks for the Rec's everyone!! I am on the fence bout the BB cream too. I actually got a sample & broke out horribly! I'm still on the lookout for something good!!!::yes::

this sounds fantastic, where do you get this? Is your skin dry or oily by itself?

Clinique CC cream pooled on my face (47 and dry skin). It was very odd and icky looking after about 2 hours. I currently us Dr. Jart BB cream and I really like it, but I am very fair skinned.

I'm a dedicated Clinique user... I really like the Moisture Surge, (so the CC), I also love the City Block SPF, (I use as a primer) or the DDML my tried and true moisturizer

While I love Clinique I honestly found that the best foundation in the parks is the Bare Minerals... never left my face...even on SM!!!

I have both the IT cosmetic CC cream and the Tarte Amazonian clay.

The IT cosmetics is 50spf and makes me have a nice glow. It doesn't cover my dark circles well though.

The tarte is great. It last all day, keeps moisture where needed and keeps oil at bay where you don't. Problem is it's only 15spf - not enough. I live in the NE so won't know how it will work if I use a facial SPF lotion under it for the summer months.
