Clifornia Grill Lounge Question

Hi all,
I was wondering if it is possible to go up to CG and just have drinks.

I would love to do this around Fireworks time for the MVMCP.

My questions do we have to have ADR for the lounge?

Should I just suck it and attempt to get ADR for dinner? If I do how far/out should they be made before the fireworks?

They will let you up IF there is room. Which there usually isn't anywhere near fireworks time. That applies even if you have an ADR. There may well be no seats at the bar or in the lounge. The CG lounge is a tiny, wide open area right smack dab in the center (right center) of the restaurant. It has only a few tables and folks circle like hawks waiting on someone to leave so they can pounce on the empty seats.
