I'm currently agonising over where to stay for our second week- we want a nice week to relax with the kids, somewhere on the beach and with a gulf view. We'll be coming from the GF, so while I don't want GF prices, I wouldn't mind at least some of the luxury KWIM?
The sheraton sand key sure looks interesting. Has anyone stayed club level there and what was it like? How much extra does it cost and can you get an upgrade with your starwood card?
We're looking at the Don Cesar beach suites- anyone know anything about them? I've heard the rooms at the hotel can be small so a suite here with washer/dryer would be good.
Also any input on Siesta Key? We've always stayed in Longboat Key, but on our last visit, the beach had been renourished and wasn't up to the powdery white sand standards of old. Any nice resorts?
