Clearwater Area to Disney area??? Car? Mears?

Hello
Anyone suggest anything...I do not really need a car while on disney property but will be in clearwater for several days (from TPA airport) before going to Disney.
Should I use a private car service?
Rent a car at TPA (also did not really need a car for those three days)
Rent a car in Clearwater somewhere??


SHould I check over on a Tampa Cruise board or something to get help? Any suggestions appreciated...I really did not even want to rent, but maybe that'd be cheaper in the long run???

You should plan on renting a car because the cost of a car service from Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater to Disney would be prohibitive!

Rent from Enterprise (either in the city or at TPA) and then return it at their location near Downtown Disney and they will drive you to your hotel.

Only note that location closes at around 4-5 during the week and around 1 on the weekend
