Hi Pat...It's a pleasure to meet you!!! Do you have any idea what a celebrity you've become? With one post you've spread more happiness and goodwill than a whole boatload of pixie dust. Sorry to hear you are so ill. Please take care of yourself and try to visit with us whenever you can. :goodvibes

P.S. Sometime I feel like my head isn't on too straight either -- and that's okay.

Hi, Pat. I really, really hope you took the thread in the spirit in which it was intended. I honestly believe it was done in the good natured Disney spirit that all the folks here believe in. I'm positive that nobody here was purposely having a laugh at your expense.
Even with that said, I still feel terrible.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I know pets can truely become part of the family.

I hope you hang around a while and give us a chance to show you that we are good people.

Whoever the military guy is in your sig, please give him a big "thank you" on my behalf.

Now, to finally answer your question... Yes, SSR does sell mugs. :)

And, you just tell us when and where, and we'll be happy to refill it with your beverage of choice! :drinking1

Might even throw one of these in to: :mickeybar

Hello Pat

Thank you for stepping in to meet us.

I am a huge pet-lover, so I am glad that Hannamae is really a much loved and missed dog! Makes the name all that more special.

Please come and visit often. See you at the House of Mouse! :wave2:

Hey Pat!

I havent been following the whole Hanname thing but read a few posts there after reading this post.

Im sorry about your pet. We really do get attached, thats for sure.

The DIS boards and especially this forum have become a happier place because of you. Just wanted you to know that.

God bless you and your family.

Hi Pat,
Please accept my deepest sympathay on your loss....losing one's family pet can be devastating.
Just wanted you to know that your post brought me so much joy and laughter :rotfl2: and please remember, it was meant in fun...no one was trying to be malicious.
Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon.
Sending you hugs :grouphug: :grouphug: and pixie dust! :wizard: :wizard:

Hello Pat!
It's nice to hear from you.
So sorry to hear about your dog!
Sending lots of pixie dust your way that you will feel well soon.
You have brought lots of smiles to many a DIS'ers face, me included!!
Feel free to drop by anytime!

I'm surprised no one has asked you this question yet...

So, what's the correct pronunciation?

(My vote was for ha-NAM-may)

Hiya Pat!

:wave2:

Thanks for coming and filling us in. As many have said, we certainly weren't making fun of you, simply of ourselves and if we can't laugh at ourselves, then where would most of our laughs come from? (ok - maybe I laugh at myself more than others!!)

Thank you for joining us and :grouphug:

Be well!

Laura

Hi Pat,

Welcome to the DIS. I'm sorry to hear about your health problems. I make tons of typos without any reason so don't worry about that.

It is sweet that you are remembering a beloved pet by using her name as your user name. The love we have for our dogs never dies does it?

Just wanted to mention that the place you wrote Hanname in your original post is for the topic or subject of your question. So you might have wanted to put "Will we have the pleasure of buying a mug at SSR?" in that space and just signed it Hannamae since your daughter's user name was going to show up. I hope that isn't confusing.

Anyway, a warm welcome to the DIS. :grouphug:

Ray --

I believe Pat may have misspelled her dog's name in her first post. If you re-read her new post, you'll see it's two names combined: Hanna and Mae. It doesn't really seem like there's a question regarding pronunciation.

Welcome, Pat!!

I'm sorry to hear to about your health difficulties, but so glad to know that a "wet-nose" was able to bring some joy and love into your life, even though she's crossed the Rainbow Bridge now.

Again, welcome!

Hi Pat, and welcome to the DIS!

Thank you for solving that mystery and I honor my much loved departed pet in much the same way.

What a year! We now know who Deep Throat and Hannamae are! LOL!

Take care and lots of pixie dust to you and your family!

Crystal

Pat,

Thanks for coming back to fill us in. I'm sorry you don't feel well. I hope you are able to visit WDW sometime.

Please, please let us know when you will be going and where you will be staying.

You are a huge celebrity here now. There is a true story about an artist who developed Parkinson's disease. He had to adopt an impressionisti style because of the tremors. His art became uniquely beautiful and his paintings are now in high demand. I can't remember the name.

Your tremors and the whole Hanna Mae thing remind me of him.

Neil

Just doing my part to get this thread over a thousand posts...may the haname be with you

Hello, Pat. I'm so glad you came in to say "Hi". I'm sorry about your dog. We've been through the same thing and I'm sending a hug your way.

Please know that you've given many of us a wonderful new slogan and/or greeting - Hanname! To us it means bright, friendly, fun and happy. I don't think your pet could leave a nicer legacy. Thank you! I'll raise a mug to you and your pet the next time we're in WDW.
