Something about Australia becoming a part of Animal Kingdom according to Screamscape. Though that sounds cool and all about about we just go ahead and start working on Beastly Kingdomme LOL...yeah one can wish...

Well there is definitely something going on there....I mentioned it before but a once-dead project of Rohde's has supposedly been green-lit...Australia, Beastly, something has been approved. Just not sure what.

I know everyone's claiming it'll be Australia...but one reason I think it won't be is that Australia has *so much* diversity, and so many different landscapes...yes, an Imagineer's dream come true, but fitting it all into one land would likely be less than pheasible...I know they haven't fit all of Asia, or Africa, into those lands, but they have focus. Australia, with all its environments...

...Well, I guess I just mean it seems more likely they'd finally put focus into mythology. Maybe the Australia claim is to throw off the scent? :confused3

Here's your options:

A. A new or upgraded service area for zoo staff (most likely)
B. Possible developmental of a new "premium" attraction area to really rip people off (as they have done recently with this new safari tour at 8 bazillion dollars a head)
C. A new kiddie with more character/ kiddie/ photoshop/ giftshop areas to schlep more swag...this one is all but a certainty at some point

I just don't see any large scale, significant additions to any of the WDW parks coming anytime soon...not until they are well within a new boom where the place is packed at pretty close to retail price...which we are not at nor will be for at least a few years

I posted this a few weeks ago and just seeing how this lost steam it must be false.
Aussi land would be great! BK as it was orginally planned would better.

Not adding in BK was a huge mistake IMHO.

I guess it's all personal opinion. I never thought BK was too interesting but Australia would be great, IMO. Prefer the real to the fantasy in this case.

I asked someone who is very much in the know today at Animal Kingdom (and no its not a bus driver, it was someone within the top 4 or 5 people who are in charge of the park) and when I asked him, he wouldn't deny it or confirm it either way. He kind of smirked and changed the subject.

Not in my way of thinking. If they had added BK it would have made AK like any of the other Disney Parks instead of something very different. As it is every land of AK is based in some real place on earth, something that BK obviously wouldn't have been. Some of the ideas for the original BK could still be incorporated in other ways but I certainly don't want nor believe that BK and that was originally planned will ever happen.

Your right. Australia is much more diverse then then Asia and Africa?:confused3:confused:

They don't need to fit it "all" into the main attractions. They can pick and choose at the Imagineers whims then perhaps offer a circle vision movie or some other passive attraction (like in Epcot's China, Canada and France) to make it all inclusive.
