Does Disney have a clear out location for their old merchandise?

They do sales for Cast Members with left over merchandise and there is a store at the Outlets in Lake Buena Vista, Character Connection, where they sell outdated merchandise. It can be hit or miss.

The one certainty that we’ve encountered over the past few years is the crowd always waiting to get into that store! We had always made a point of dropping in to check for bargains and brought home some good buys but it is just no longer fun. There is usually a queue outside, and entry is controlled, but you are still shopping elbow-to-elbow, which quickly gets annoying. With a mobility device of any kind, it is a extremely awkward.

Yup! The Disney Character Warehouses at the Orlando Vineland and International Premium Outlets, just east of Disney. Plenty of Disney merch from past events and seasons at very substantial discounts! If you are a Cast Member or know anyone close to you who is one, Cast Connection has exclusive merchandise set aside at huge discounts!

Remember, the above stores are the ONLY official Disney-operated outlets in the Orlando area for discounted merchandise. All those other so called “Disney Outlets” in those tourist laden areas are NOT authorized or ran by Disney. Many of those stores may be part of either money laundering or crime rings. Even if the staff in those fake Disney stores are as nice and welcoming as the Cast Members in REAL Disney stores, chances are the items that the fake Disney stores may be stolen from a real Disney store or even a cheap counterfeit knockoff.

if you go on the disney store web site you can pull up the locations of their outlet stores across the united states. we used to live near one and you could get some decent deals. when certain events/shows/parades were being phased out the related merch would be there. go after a holiday and find the unsold products for a fraction of the price (Christmas decor/ornaments, same with Halloween and Easter).
if the seasonal clothing was changing (for the location of the nearest park to the store) then deals on that clothing could be had (stock up on warm sweatshirts in the spring and summer, bathing suits and tank tops come fall...).
