cleanliness of heavenly beds at he Swan & Dolphin?

OK, weird ? but how often do they clean those down feather beds and the comforters at these resorts? I know they probably have covers on them that are probably cleaned after every stay, but I always wonder about how clean comforters and blankets are at every hotel, just a phobia I have about cleanliness!

I have no idea, but when I was at the Dolphin in December, they were immaculate. Everything is white, so you would notice right away if the comforters weren't clean.

I think you will be VERY happy at the Swan/Dolphin. You can't beat the location and they are deluxe properties.

I agree with the previous post. We stayed at the Dolphin in November and our room was spotless.

we stayed at the Swan last spring ('03). We asked the housekeeping staff how often the spreads were washed -- they advised they were washed every few days (the white spreads get dirty quickly).

We stayed there this past summer for 2 weeks and our cover was washed about every 4 -5 days.
