cleaning your stove top

I remember seeing a post quite some time ago about cleaning the stove top around the burner.
Can anyone recommend something for this job??

I use baking soda and vinegar. Just did this about an hr ago

I keep a spray bottle filled with equal parts vinegar, water and peroxide. It is my all purpose all natural cleaner for th kitchen and bathroom. I even use it as a daily "keep clean" spray for the tub.

Anyway for heavier cleaning I sprinkle on baking soda, spray with the mixture and let it bubble, then I scrub if needed with a sponge and nylon scrubby.
