Clean Towels?

Daily towels are not provided to members. You can get extra towels at $6 per set or you can wash what you have if you need more. Some people take the pool towels but that's frowned upon as it costs far more to launder the pool towels than regular towels and if they felt it was appropriate to provide them, they would. Depending on the length of your stay, you will get a trash and towel or full cleaning on day 4 and a trash and towel on day 8 I think it is both with new towels. You can buy Trash and Towel or full cleanings extra if you want also. If you're in a studio, there are free W/D by the pool.

Buy Wisk tablets (2 to a wrapped package)....they travel great and fit right in your suitcase anywhere. My husbands likes clean towels EVERYDAY, so we just put in a load before we left, threw them in the dryer when we got back and there was no problem. If you start with enough towels, you may be able to go 2 days and then wash. Its alot cheaper than the $6.00 AND cheaper than buyer detergent there.

Like DLVisitor, we often throw the towels in the washer at night and in the dryer in the morning. Sometimes all we need to wash is the towels, so it's not really a full load and not really worth running, but four towels don't last long!

I've always felt that DVC was cutting off their nose to spite their face, so to speak, by not providing more towels. I would think that the costs for water and electricity for everyone to run all those washers and dryers in the rooms, just to wash towels, is way more than what DVC would be spending to launder the towels in bulk. Just my opinion.

We wash the towels each day as we leave for the parks too. It is nice that they are white, because we usually throw the undies in with them!:)
