Does anyone know of a hotel that is clean and inexpensive near the Sea World area? We can get the Country Inn & Suites at LBV for $49 a night which is fine but thought if we could get something in the Sea World area, we would consider it. Thanks!

I can't help you. I know nothing about the actual hotels in the area. However, you may be able to get more answers on the Orlando Hotels and Attractions Board. They know a lot about the hotels offsite.

Someone else asked over on that board and was told they might get a response on this one. Thanks though!

Donna have you tried checking http://www.hotwire.com They work in a similar fashion to priceline, but you can actually see the price they would charge. I've used them many times all over the US and always got a decent hotel for the money. You don't know the actual hotel until after you commit to the booking, but I've always been pleased with the standard of hotel for the money.

Yes, I've been checking Hotwire. I also used it in February. Thanks!

We stayed about 2 blocks down and it was clean, no frills but safe and clean. It was about $50 a night. http://www.orlandosleepinn.com/

My only complaint was I didnt know ahead they had no cribs but that was my fault for assuming and not asking. We had 2 connecting rooms and some of our party did the breakfast (Donut/cereal type thing) BUt I never had a chance to get down there.

We had no problem with anything there. And it had a pool so my grandaughter was happy about that.
