Didn't hear all the details - heard on the radio today that Clay Aiken's being sued by a group of ex-fans.

I must be living under a rock, hadn't heard any of this before...the D.J.'s stated that since he was "outed" as being gay; there is a large contingent of angry fans who feel they were hood-winked???? & are filing a lawsuit.

Personally, I can't say I am a fan, saw him sing on American Idol and that was the end of it. However, if I was, I could care less what his sexual orientation is...

Since when do you have to announce what your personal preferences are (sexual, religous, political party) in order to be an entertainer?

Sounds like a lot of hogwash to me. A fan can't sue an entertainer because they learn he is allegedly gay. If it's real lawsuit, I'm sure the first judge that hears it will throw it in the garbage where it belongs. No wonder our court dockets are so backlogged!

You can sue for anything now a days as funny as it seems you get your day in court.
If found not liable you should get paid ,other lawyer should be fined for bringing it to court and Judge should be Docked for letting it tie up his court room .This would stop all of these kinds of things.

Watched HLNews for a while this afternoon, the only celebrity story is the Anna Nicole (Marshall vs. Marshall) going to the Supreme Court for the big bucks - said it would take a few months.

Never know...this might follow suit .

I always liked George...he was arrested in England slumped over his car's steering wheel & charged w/poss. of drugs over the weekend. My oldest DS is a big fan (he was crushed when George was outed - of course he was a teenager @ the time).

I was going to say the same thing. I've only seen the guy when he was on American Idol and I thought it was pretty apparent. How can people who see him all the time and follow his career have missed it? This is so ridiculous, but maybe they do have a suit because he did seem to do a lot to try to "cover up". I remember when he was on the show he and another girl contestant were kind of hanging on each other all the time and making googly eyes. It looked to me at the time like he was covering up and they were just trying to get attention with the possibility of a "relationship". In this day and age, anything is possible in the courtrooms!!!
