We are heading to the World in November, and want to bring back a little trinket for the class since my girls will be missing school. What are some suggestions for what to bring. I am looking to spend $1 per child or less lol. I know I can do mickey lollipops (in the pack of 6 i think it is)..but looking for possible other ideas! We will bring the teachers Christmas ornaments! Thanks for any input!

Last time we went, we did pencils and Mickey stickers (since by that point we had rolls of them that CMs handed out like candy!). I can't remember the cost of the pencils, but I think it would be close to the $1/child mark. We had 20 kids to buy for, and I'm pretty sure we didn't spend more than $25 total.

We bought some candies from the store in Japan. There's some packs that include lots of little things.

I agree with the pencils and stickers. How about a box of saltwater taffy? It comes in a cute Disney box with a handle so your daughter can carry the box around to pass out pieces, and there are a lot of pieces inside- I know I had a student bring a box back to share with the class and it was enough for everyone to get at least 2 pieces I think? I believe the box we bought in August was $7.95. Of course always check regarding allergies (we had allergies in our class but all were able to have the taffy).

We just brought back free items-stickers, sorcerers of the magic kingdom cards (we had 6 people in our group and already have 2 full sets of our own, so ours on this trip were extras), drivers licenses from Indy. Then I brought some Goofy Mickey suckers in the bag, cheaper then the 6 packs.

Pressed pennies. You and your children can save up the quarters and pennies until your trip. Then, each of your girls can ask her classmates for their favorite Disney character. You all can see where (google it) the machines are located for the characters or attractions and then have fun collecting those while you are there. You can even take photos of making the pennies and share when your girls get back with each class. Cost to you - $.51 per child.

As a teacher, I don't buy the pencils because they are not great quality and tear up the sharpeners. My last 2 trips I brought back little Mickey/Minnie foam head keychains. They look like mini antenna toppers. I think they're about $1 a piece. The kids like attaching them to their backpacks. The pressed pennies would be fun.

I don't ever get food items for the kids, honestly they love the free round mickey stickers alot! No worry about getting 25 of the same thing. Any time I mentioned to the CM that I wanted the extra stickers for my daycare they would always give me plenty.

When I taught first grade I always brought back the hard plastic Mickey head straws for my class. I think they are only sold in food courts. Not sure what the price of them is now but when I bought them they were only $.25. The kids loved them... just warn them that they can't go in the dishwasher!
