There are hundreds of great restaurants at Disney, but, in your opinion, what do you think are the ones that had that "Disney feeling" ? I would say like Chef Mickey.. or Crystal Palace, even 'Ohana

I would love to hear your opinions too!! :goodvibes

Sorry, but imo Chef Mickey's is soooo overrated on these boards - had more of the "Golden Coral" feeling than the WDW feeling.

Donald's Safari Breakfast @ Tusker, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, CRT

Tony's - Dinner on Main Street with Lady and the Tramp. Very Disney!

While I respect your opinion, I really think Chef Mickey's is very Disney, I mean, you get the five fab, plus the monorail, and the whole atmosphere. We only go for breakfast and we absolutely love it:lovestruc

Crystal Palace hands down.

That is the most Disney you will get.

Although I have never been to Chef Mickey's... I'm made sure to get an ADR for our arrival dinner because it's "classic" Disney!

I know this isn't a TS restaurant but, I always think of Casey's Corner when I think of WDW! I have to go there each trip. Grab a bite, sit outside and listen to the music while watching all the happy (and crabby) faces stroll by... :lovestruc

Tony's Town Square
Chef Mickey's
Crystal Palace
Cinderella's Royal Table
California Grill

I haven't eaten at Chef Mickey's in years - but I always think of it as a classic as its been there (in one form or another) since the beginning. I just always loved eating at CR with the monorail going through.

In 1989 during our first trip to WDW with our DDs (6 & 8 yrs. old) our most "magical" meal was lunch at King Stefan's Castle (now Cinderella's Royal Table). Just being inside that beautiful castle, eating off of pewter plates & drinking out of pewter mugs, the CM's addressing our girls as "princesses" - which they just loved - was like being in a fairy tale. Truly classic Disney. And they had the most adorable children's menus too!

. . . boy, do I agree

Tony's - Dinner on Main Street with Lady and the Tramp. Very Disney!
. . . again, I agree
. . . we even tried the eating a spaghetti from each end
. . . as a result, we recommend to others to not try it
. . . people stopped us all day
. . . they thought we were bleeding to death from the chest

1900 Park Fare has a very Disney atmosphere to me. The characters are great at breakfast and dinner as well.:wizard:

The Disney feel to a restaurant is often a person's "home" restaurant.
The one you "go to" every time you are at Disney.
Whether it is the food, or you can get that special CM to wait on you... one that has become kinda a friend or maybe the lounge where the CM's know what you want before you order and you haven't been there in almost a year.
Those are the places with the special Disney feel.

For me, its lunch at the Plaza resturant. It doesn't get any more classic Disney than that.

For me I'd say that Crystal Palace, Tony's Town Square, 'Ohana and Mama Melrose always give me that warm and fuzzy Disney feeling.

For us it is Tony's Town Square the first place we eat. One other that just feels good is Aloha Isle we get dole whips first day and last day in the MK.:thumbsup2:goofy:
