I made this thread for classic rock fans since the only thread I post about my favorite bands is on the random thread...anywho, I'm making this so people can finally have a place to chat about classic rock.

so to start this off...have you guys heard about ac/dc's new album that's supposed to come out in october?!?!?!?!?
& they might do a world tour and some say it might be a "farewell" tour :scared1:
but anyways, i'm still excited; the last time i was this excited was when zeppelin had their reunion concert, but then i found out it wasn't in the u.s
xc
so anywho, discuss?
oh & here's the link to the article about the future album:CLICK.

i never really was a fan of country but dang, the eagles make it seem like some pretty sweet stuff.

Are Led Zeppelin still doing a tour like they were *supposed* to? xD

Because if they do, my parents would be willing to shell out, like, $1,000 a pop for tickets. :hyper:

i would kill for tickets if they did.
seriously, no lie...:rolleyes1
better watch out.

Share concert experiences!
I haven't had any, so I'll share my parents'.

My dad saw U2 when he was in college and they were hardly famous.
He's seen The Grateful Dead quite a few times.
My uncle Rob saw The Doors once.
My mom saw The Rolling Stones, Supertramp, and quite a few other bands.

Wouldn't it have been great to live in the 60s and 70s? Lol.

Ive seen :

U2
BNL
Queen+PR
Peter Frampton
Aerosmith
Lenny Kravitz

*pauses to think of more*

My family is REALLY big on going to concerts.

*gasp*

*double gasp*

*EXPLOOODES*

I am so jealous :o

*blushes*
All of my friends from last year are the opposite.
Except this year though, I got new friends, and they are people who I can sing "Maggie May" with, and totally scream "AHHHH ROD STEWARTTT"

My parents really like concerts, so one day they decided to take my bro and I.
It totally made me what I am today.

Oh my gosh your uncle saw the Doors?! they are SO awesome!

Thank you SO much for starting this thread! I really hope Led Zepplien goes on tour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:worship: I would kill to see them:faint: I'm so glad Elton still tours!

Woot another Who fan!:woohoo:

i never really was a fan of country but dang, the eagles make it seem like some pretty sweet stuff.

I don't really like country music either, but gosh Johnny Cash is a legend. I love his songs.:upsidedow

I've seen the White Stripes and the Raveonettes live.I live in a country most bands don't go on tour to.:sad1: In fact I saw the Raveonettes while visiting another country lol.

Oh and U2, I was very little when they came here. Not really a fan, but their show was really good.

My sister was in the concert venue with her friends and my mom and I watched the show from the big screen that was set outside.

It was a lot of fun, I remember the whole thing even though I was little.

my parents have been to a U2 concert and i think that's it.
they had kids at a young age so they really couldn't go out much.
:/
but if i don't get to go to that ac/dc concert (if there's a tour), i'll do something desperate.
van halen was here in june but i didn't go since no one would go with me. :headache:
