As a kid..did anyone else read the book titled "The boxcart children"?

The Boxcar Children one of my DD's favorites. It is a series. I've never read them.

I loved reading the series as a kid. I've tried to get my kids interested in them, but no luck so far. All my son likes is Goosebumps books, and my daughter likes the Babysitter's Club books.

I loved the first one. My DS10 liked them and DD8 loves them all. They are on the Accelerated Reading program, so they get to read something they like, and get points for it.

Yes, I think I read all of them. At least, I read all of them that our library had. My sister and I both devoured them. My mom was the librarian at our elementary school, so the next book in the series was never checked out when we needed it.

On the topic of classic books...how about the Baby Sitters Club? I saw in my work yesterday we have a pack of about 5 books, and I just rememberd many good days on laying around reading one of those books! Does anyone remember Girl Talk? They were pretty good too!
