Classes?

Where does one look for classes on photography? I would like to learn what all the settings do, I have read a few books but would like some hands on with someone telling me what I am supposed to be seeing first hand.

I checked our local community college and didn't see anything there. I no longer have a camera "shop" in my city. Anyone know where to look?

I have a friend that is a pro and he gives classes from time to time. You may want to contact a pro and ask if they would be willing to help you learn.
