It was one of Oprah's favorite picks in 2007 for skincare. Per the site - "Clinically shown to be over twice as effective as cleansing by hand, increases product absorption and leaves skin feeling and looking smoother. The oscillating bristles stimulate and loosen the plugs in your pores leaving you with super-smooth, scrupulously clean skin."

I like to read "real" people experiences - I always think websites have paid people to write good reviews.

I bought it last week off of e bay for $180 total price. I think it would have been about $211 from the Clarisonic site with the shipping and tax. I feel it was a bit expensive but I really wanted it after hearing about it on Oprah.
I have to say that it really does clean your face much better than washing without it. I have the Clinique clarifying cleanser that I use after washing my face and in the past (before I had the Clarisonic) I would always see left over dirt/grime on the cotten ball after using the cleanser, which I used after washing my face. Now, with the Clarisonic, I dont see any residue after cleaning, and I really have to say that my skin feels much cleaner.

I'm glad I treated myself to it. It is also waterproof, so you can use it in the shower.

I just ordered this today. I can't wait to see if it helps. My skin just started to get bad a couple mos back. Does anyone who has this use the Clarisonic cleansers as well? It comes with a trial size, and I was on the fence as to whether or not to buy one. I decided not to for now.

I have the smaller one--called a "mia" and love it. Not crazy about the cleansers though, Heatherleigh, but they weren't terrible by any means. I also uses the Clinique clarifying cleanser!
I bought mine through QVC when it was the TSV. I'd repurchase it again!

I've been using clarisonice for 2+ years and love it. I don't use the cleanser, just the brush system with my own cleanser. I have oily skin with large pores, before clarisonic, i can easily see my t zone pores clogged with black stuff. Now i still have some, but nothing like what i used to have.

I just bought the new clarisonic opal for the eye area, just been a week so no visible result yet

I've had it for a while, but I didn't start using regularly until recently. It really does an exceptional job at cleansing your skin without drying or irritating it. I've noticed that my skin absorbs moisturizers better after using the Clarisonic. I didn't use the cleansers that came with it. I prefer to use my own products. It does reduce the appearance of pores and my face just has a more toned feel to it. BTW, I'm 45.

I'd definitely recommend it.

I have one and I love it. It really gets all the excess dirt and makeup that is left behind after regular cleansing. My moisturizer absorbs really well, and my skin feels so soft and looks great. I will admit that I have always had good skin, but I think that regular use of the Clarisonic is helping to keep it that way. In fact, I got ID'd at the liquor store the other day...and I'm 39!

I got an email from Dermadoctor.com and they have a 20% off code for any clarisonic product including the machine. Its CLAR20 but I don't remember when it expires.

Wish I would have seen that offer before I purchased. I just received the mia in the mail today, and it is used. I called the co., and they're mailing out a brand-new one now. I just have to send this one back. The seal was broken, so I thought maybe someone had just opened it and returned it (didn't appreciate that, but I was desperate). The item is totally dirty and definitely used. I refuse to pay full price for a used item, so I'm shipping it back. It's just such a pain, and I wAS really looking fwd to it.

It's nice to hear some of the responses for cleansers. It doesn't sound like most people use the brand cleanser. I always like to match everything, so I planned on ordering it, but have now decided against it. I don't think it would provide much benefit.
