Clarion Suites Oaks at Resort World?

Hello, has anyone stayed there recently? Any comments appreciated. It is adjacent to the Star Island resort.

I believe this is the same hotel you asked about because it is adjacent to Star Island.

I would sleep in my car before I would go back to this hotel. Brochures and other materials for this hotel present it as a deluxe property when it is really a low-budget timeshare with rude, hostile staff.

Ouch. Its so frustrating to wait so long for a vacation and have it ruined by something. thanks for the reply.

Glad I could be of help... but sorry it wasn't better news.

For what it's worth, we have stayed at Sierra Suites in LBV twice and had a great experience both times. We will probably stay there again on our next trip. It's much closer to WDW than Clarion and cheaper, too.

Sorry I couldn't post a review sooner as my newborn is keeping me quite busy and so I don't have as much time to visit the DIS as I'd like! Nonetheless, as Cofey said, this "resort" (what a joke!) is awful - low budget timeshare is right! I posted a review as well (sorry I can't link it at the moment). I feel sorry for people who stay here with the implication that it is a resort - rude staff, terrible property, no restaurant, terrible location, nothing to do, awful pool, no shuttle service, etc... Hopefully you'll find another hotel that is honest about its propery and knows how to treat customers with respect.
