We stayed here in December. It is definately not the Ritz, but not a dump either. Well worth the $35.00.
Everyone we ran into were really nice. The hotel is clean. There is a very small and plain pool in the back with a few lounge chairs. A pool bar. We ordered a chicken strip basket there one night after returning from the parks. It was really good with a lot of food for the price. We never tried the on-site restaurant.
The rooms were sort of different. When you first walk in the door, there is a full size pull out couch. Nothing else in that area, but the couch. Then a the bathroom which further secluded this area. The bathroom was clean...I didn't notice mold anywhere.
On the other side of the bathroom were the beds. The wierd thing is that the closet was in this area and stuck out into the bed area from the bathrrom wall. Took a lot of space this way. 2 queen size beds and a window air conditioner...a color tv with limited channels and a desk.
As I said, not fancy, but clean and the rooms were pretty nice.
The location is good...there is either a Dennys or Perkins almost in the parking lot...as well as a bunch of restaurants and souvenier shops close by....but, DO NOT go to the "all you can eat" breakfast bar across the street (I think it was a Golden Corral, but could be wrong--it was somthing like that)...
