Clarion LBV review?

Anyone stayed here since the refurb? It use to be Comfort Inn LBV and I had a terrible 1 night stay on our honeymoon. Reading reviews off google its sounds good and pics look good but I want to see if any of my Disers have stayed..

Stayed here in Feb and it was nice. Room was great! It was clean and perfect what we needed. Wifi was really nice too. I recommend it. I stayed there in 2007 and there is quite the difference between then and now. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Cant beat it for the price with the location. Good luck
The only thing I wish they had was a free continental breakfast. But there are so many places around to eat.

We've stayed there every year for the past four years and have had a great time.

We did have an issue now year were we couldn't get into our room after coming back from MVMCP due to the locks being frozen! It was a freak occurrence and not one that's likely to happen often!

We've loved staying there the rooms are clean and comfortable and it's so easy to get to Disney and there's a Walmart not far away too.

The security is good - there's a guard on the gate so you feel pretty secure.

The only reason on were not returning this year is we've got free dining so are staying on site for the first time

Im glad to hear its changed, it was drastically different and not in a good way before from what I can tell. I just need it for 1 night for 6 hrs of sleep before checking into GF

I have the same feeling! I've already looked at prices for next year

I'm looking forward to using the QSDP - we were lucky and got the 2 snack credit deal that they offered us Brits this year so extra schoolbread - and being able to use the resort buses to get back on a night - after 7 years of driving that will be a pleasure might even treat myself to a Grey Goose slush or 2

I've stayed there a couple of times since the refurb. I would definitely recommend it if you can get a good deal. I've actually left a review or two on the boards, if you want to check my posts.

Check out the room for Bed Bugs as you should with any hotel these days. I got bed bugs from that place. It should be fine though for a single night before the magic happens though.

We stayed at Clarion LBV in December 2011 before checking into a Disney resort. Our flight arrived late the night before our reservations. I am a choice privileges member since I travel a lot for work and normally when something is listed as 6,000 points it is not something I even consider. We decided to give it a try based on reveiws and it was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, quiet, the staff was friendly and it was free for us because of our points! It is also near lots of things so we were able to grab a very late dinner and early breakfast no problem without having to go out of our way. We are staying at AKL in less than two weeks and are doing the same thing...we booked a flight the day before we check in due to airline prices and I have already booked Clarion LBV to stay at the night before!

been looking at it myself. $59 a night seems like a good idea for summer.

We stayed there last weekend for 1 night. We had no problems, and definately got our $50 plus tax worth.....

Our room was first floor facing I4, and didnt have any noise in the room.

I think is great for a short stay, but i would pick something else for a full vacation stay.
