clarification on whole swapping thing

look, I just want to say, I am not mad at anyone (well, ok, I am but only with one swap) Everyone else who is currently hosting a swap has been communicating. Everyone else who wants to host a swap, please do, don't let me scare you. (I'm really not trying to, I just would really appreciate some communication on the character swap) That's what the issue is. Yes there are people that I would not swap with again, but they are few and far between and I certainly wouldn't go posting their names, etc, I personally just wouldn't join a swap that they might host or be in (and no one currently hosting/swapping fits that description so no one needs to panic. ) Spinning put it best, we just need to move on... (which sucks because I know we all worked hard on that character swap, but clearly we aren't getting it back) Maybe we can work something out amongst ourselves after the holidays, but that would be a totally different post. Anyhow, please don't think that I want to stop all swaps or keep a list of flakers, etc. I still like to swap and will continue to do so. And please don't be afraid to sign up to either hostess or join a swap, it really is fun. Just keep the communication going. that's the bottom line. If I knew that the character swap was being mailed out after thanksgiving because life got in the way, I'd be down with that. I don't know that, I have no idea where it is and the hostess has disappeared. That ticks me off. Ok, I'll get off the soap box now... happy thanksgiving! maggie

Sorry you had someone that didn't hold up their end of the exchange.
I keep the list of exchange "flakes" on the CB....and it is a long one.
We have never understood how people can do that
I would be mad along with you all.....it is not right!

I totally understand life getting in the way, etc., etc. Unfortunately I've been there myself recently (thank goodness things are going a little bit better). But communication is KEY! It just takes a couple of minutes to check in here and be honest (or have someone check in for you).
