Clarification on Banked Pts Expiration

Hi,

I need some help understanding the use of banked points before they expire. I know when you bank points into the next use year, you must use them before the end of your next use year. However, what constitutes "use"? Is the requirement that you must complete your stay before they expire, or is it that you must make the reservation before they expire? For example, if I have a June use year and have banked 2010 points into the June 2011- June 2012 use year, can I use them to make a reservation for August 2012?

I feel like I should know this, but drawing a blank at the moment. Thanks in advance for your help!

If you have not completed travel by the end of the Use year they have been banked into, they expire.

And remember your UY ends May 31st. You wrote June to June so I just wanted to make sure you know.
