You will get quite a variety of views on Cape May Cafe.
We love it. The clams are delicious and just the perfect size for my preference. The clam meat is about the size of the end of your little finger. On our last visit(May,'10) the crablegs were included and were good. We have never had a bad meal there in about 10 visits over the years.
You will find that many people from New England or other coastal regions (No flames please) do not consider this an acceptable "clambake". Some complaints I've read are that the clams are too small, it doesn't have lobster, etc..... And truely, it may not fit the typical genre of "Clam Bake". But we(me, Dh, DS, DD) "in-landers" enjoy it very much.
The "seafood" included is: small steamed clams, mussels, crab legs and either either baked or battered deep fried fish, also a variety of salads, small peal & eat shrimp, vegetables, potatoes, chicken dish(s), ribs, beef dish(es), delicious corn bread, 2 soup choices and a nice variety of mini dessert from which to choose.
The price in mid May 2010 was $31.99 per person.
