Clam Bake at the Beach Club...

How's the food for this? Do they have any fried clams or just steamers?

I haven't been but I from what I have heard, new englanders will find it disappointing. Which is the reason I haven't been.

The food at Cape May Clambake is awesome (although I don't know about the clams as we don't eat them ). But the buffet is great with alot of variety and the Beach Club atmosphere is nice, as well .

the mussels and clams or okay, but the rest of the food is decent.

We are New Englanders (actually near Burlington, MA OP) who were disappointed and will not return. We did not find the food to be very good. It was a few years ago, and I don't think they had fried clams at all.

Thanks for the responses...I've been for breakfast but never for the clam bake.

No fried clams, just steamers. As for the "New England Clambake" title, the seafood doesn't cut it. The other food is good though.
