Hiya

Just had to share with you how much Claire is a not only my best friend, but is the most generous, thoughtful and wonderful person. It was my pre 30th birthday celebrations on Saturday. Claire came down to celebrate this with me. She gave me $100 gift card that she won and instead of saving of it for her next holiday she gave it to me even though I had protested it was too much.

I am still overwhelmed and love it so much and had to share with you how generous Claire is and how much I appreciate the gift. Also how much I love Claire as a friend.

Apologies for being soppy. Underneath I am a real sop myself. lol. Just not infront of my hubby

I've had many friends come and go over my life e.g work places change, friends met through kids etc but I have 2 that have stuck with me for 25 years and they're priceless!

so i've got 5 minutes spare and thought i would check in on the community to see how everyone is doing...and i find a thread about me!! you havent embarassed me babe, i am just a little shocked!
what i will say is that I won the card through the DIS a while back. I was supposed to go this August but I just cant see how to fund it without some serious bill problems and I am gonna be sensible. I will try and get back next year now. Michelle has two trips planned and they are counting the pennies carefully. This way I know that Michelle can walk into World of Disney or Main St Emporium and just blow the $100, no budget on this one, this is guilt free money that she has to spend on herself, no one to answer to. And it makes me so so happy for me to be able to do this for someone so incredibly special who stays on msn with me for hours reasoning out my lifes problems, who I can get carried away with for hours talking WDW, who I just love hanging out with, dancing with, friends like this are once in a lifetime and I feel so incredibly blessed to have her in my life. Trust me sometimes there is so much drama going on in my life i dont know how she manages to still listen and give advice without getting fed up.
My only sadness is that i dont get to see her face when she is shopping with that card am hoping that bruce will be on hand to take lots of piccies. Most of all I know that there is so much more pleasure in giving than receiving, and this is better than anything I would have gone and bought.
