So mom and I are fans of ckc and it popped up on Tom's facebook to become a fan. He being the smart alick says to me what's the ckc thing (DUH)...... so I go into the explaination and remind him AGAIN that I will be gone from thrus thru late sat.

His reply: Oh good I should become a fan so they will take you away more often.

smarty pants just for that I'm doing the cape crop next year and see how he likes me then!!

Linda I'd love to but it's smack in the middle of sugaring season. As much as I'd like to get away I'd also like to have my kids fed and reasonably taken care of. He LIVES in the sugarhouse practically and the boys are still afraid of the dark so they would NEVER walk up the hill 200' to the house and go to bed alone. It's looking like until they are much older this is one crop I will have to sit out. Plus it's looking like there is a chance mud season basketball may still be going on that late this year. Right now we are just starting it and it runs last week of feb first week of march.
