Civilization IV

Has anyone bought this yet? I want to buy this for my son for the holidays and was wondering if anyone has it yet and is it as good as Civ III?

I would love to get it. I am a big Civ fan. From everything I have read, this game is light-years ahead of Civ III

If your son liked Civ III, I would get Civ IV were I you.
