Trying to understand how this works.

Do you need a pass to go here just to walk around and maybe eat, or just the pass to club hop? Is that just certain hours?

I see you get a citywalk pass with a multiday ticket, but one of us will be using our free one-day passes we already have. Will I need a citywalk pass if we just plan on maybe eating there one night?

CityWalk is open to the public so you don't need any pass or ticket to walk around, shop or eat. The Party Passes are good for the nightclubs...not restaurants. The passes allow you to skip the cover charges but that's about all they do.

And to add what Metro said you still need to pay to park if driving.

Thank you!

To add another question -

If we pay for parking in the morning to go to US or IOA, would that parking still cover us for dinner at Citywalk later?

Yes, just keep your receipt and present it the second time you go through the plaza.

The following restaurants do have a cover charge after a certain time: Margaritaville (10pm), Latin Quarter (10pm), Pat O'Briens (9pm), and Bob Marley (9pm). If you're already in the restaurant during that time, you won't be charged. The party pass also works for these restaurants.

when i was at Bob Marley in October, it was announced that all the customers that were done eating had to leave at 9:00.

those that stayed after their meal, needed to pay the cover charge to stay for the music.
the employees did go table to table to check on the wrist bands.

the place cleared out except for a few tables.
my group stayed as we had the pass.

After 6pm the parking is free for Fla. residents and discounted to $5 for non residents, after 10pm it's free for all. Before 6pm it's $15 and free to passholders.

Wow! I didn't know that. Although I did get a similar vibe from Latin Quarter when we ate there three years ago. But as we were on the patio, they didn't have us leave. If we had dined inside, it may have been a different story.

Also in past years, we've been in the piano bar at Pat O'Briens prior to the cover charge and weren't requested to pay it once the time was reached.
