Citywalk?

We have Universal 2 day passes with 3rd day free and they include CityWalk Party Pass.

Our plan had been to check into Amerisuites on Monday Dec. 30 and walk over to check out CityWalk that eve and the last day of their Christmas-y decor. The next day we're at IofA and Jan 1 at the other Universal park (or vice versa). Then we're back to Disney.

Can we do this with our tix? Actually they're vouchers so I guess I first need to go to a theme park gate to exchange them? Do I have to use a day on the pass to do that? We can't check out CityWalk on the 31st as that's the big NYE party.

We were planning to have the kids with us. Is it too adult there in eve? Perhaps we should plan on making this an adults only eve? We don't want to be out too late as we want to hit the theme parks first thing next day.

We would like to make some good use of our "freebie" so any advice is welcome! With kids? Without kids? Kids to a certain time? Which venues?

There is NO charge to go to Citywalk. Some of the clubs charge an entrance fee after a certain time (maybe after 9:00??). You can take your children. There are usually fun things going on there. The only time you would use your Citywalk pass is if you wanted to go to a club that has an entrance fee. You can enjoy Citywalk itself as much as you like free of charge.
