CityWalk Suggestions

I did not say all people are drunks, I said most people are drunk. And when we went most people were drunk and we visit several times a year. Now, remember Citywalk does not begin until the park closes which is pretty late for us. But I think the point of her question was which park would be more of a child oriented place to be and I ansewered to the best of my ability which I still think Downtown Disney. You might have seen a lot of children there when you went (which must of been right when it opened and people were also trying to exit), but we did not see very many children when we did go, honestly. But to ansewer her question, there would be more for the kids to do if she wanted to be out late, I would recommend Downtown Disney. I am sorry if I offended anyone.
Even by saying "most people are drunk" is quite a stretch though. How many people is most? I go a lot more than "several times a year" and can't remember seeing drunks all over the place and that would be the case if "most people" were drunk. Heck...I see more drunks on any given night at HHN than any night at CityWalk. CityWalk is more adult oriented and that's what it was intended to be but there are a few things for the younger folks to do. I do agree DTD has more for the kiddies because that's what it was intended to be.

I'm sure the drunks will not be out in full force during the day, and we plan on going to bed no later than 9pm so we're safe. :rotfl:

i didn't say you said "all people" were drunk. :confused3 The OP wanted to know what there is to do at CityWalk because, as stated in original post, they weren't going to feel like driving to DTD.

While you are entitled to your opinion, I would agree both places have things to do for young kids. Assuming (on my part) the OP hasn't been to CW, and I've been there every year for the past 5 yrs or so, I was letting the OP know that it isn't over 50% drunk people (as I got from your post--whether you meant to come across that way or not). CW has the arcade upstairs in NASCAR, the games, the carousel, the fountain sprays and shops and eateries...lots to do. It's later at night when the nightclubs produce the drunks. And, we've been at CW all hours...even 1am. Even then, I don't think there's a lot of drunk people wandering around. Granted, there are the few bad apples.....but, for the most part, it's a happy place.

Since we are talking about young kids being in bed by around 9pm, I don't think there's any problem.....

You didn't offend me, I just didn't want the OP to think CW turned into a PI at night :scared:

It's all good :cool1:
