Hi all! Planning a quick weekend trip in June for my cousin's 30th birthday. Staying in Universal for the first time (Sapphire Falls! Very excited!) and was wondering how people felt about the "nightlife" on CityWalk. I was going to plan for us to lug all the way over to Boardwalk at Disney for a night to go to Jellyrolls but Pat O'Brien's and Rising Star caught my eye. Are they super fun? Complete misses? Any other suggestions for bars/entertainment after the parks close?

Thanks!

Citywalk.com will give you info to guide you

Menus, hours, entertainment on that site might help guide you

Citywalk closes at 2 am each morning

Cover charge for a few of the places that have live entertainment, around 9 pm

Rising Star can be a fun place for a birthday celebration

The mini golf is open until 2 am also

No reason to head to Disney for nightlife. With your onsite stay, just stay put! There’s plenty to do all in a great, compact area.

And a free boat ride back to your room! Can't go wrong. Check the individual venues on Universal's website for their entertainment options for when you are there.

I enjoy Rising Star mostly on weekends. The karaoke singers get back up singers and a live band. Fun to watch. The time I went to Pat O'Briens, it was too loud to hear the dueling pianos.

Pat O'Brien's is one of the things I look most forward to on a Universal trip! I like it better than Jellyrolls frankly. Its usually easier to get a seat and easier to get a song request in.
