I was at the Hard Rock restaurant on Saturday about 5 p.m. or so when I notice they had a new bar open up in front. The gift shop that was in front of the place was redesigned and one 1/2 of it is now a cool small bar.
I do not know the name of the place but it looks like Hard Rock wants more of the bar/club crowd that roams Citywalk at night. The have these booths set up to that look at most look like small beds. Very sexy in a tame way. We were talking to the bartenders and they said that it just open last night 7/29.
While we were having soem drinks opened a big door that was on top of the bar in the back wall and it looks right into the concert area of Hard Rock LIVE. They were having some cover band that night and we could hear them warming up. It was pretty darn cool.
The bartender did say that the door would be closed when bands play. It will be a good place to grab a drink and hang out at night. The bartender did say they are going to try and keep families and kids out of this bar because of the image they want to have. While I was there there were several families with little kids running around the place, so I can see what she means.
I feel families with childeren should be place in the main eating/drinking area of Hard Rock. It is a better place for kids then in a small bar with adults drinking.
Oh, yes you can order food in this place as well.
