Citywalk- best restaurants?

I am also looking for places to eat and while I was on Universal's website I saw that they have a new Bubba Gump's Shrimp Co. This may sound silly, because even though I have never eaten at one, I was so excited!!! We wanted to try one last year in DL but never got away from the parks. They have a menu posted online, also.

Our only "must do" in CW is Margarettaville
However 2 of our favorite must do are just a short walk away at RHR...
Islands Diningroom and Tchoup Chop

as for CW.....NBA city is pretty good. We also enjoy the window service from Latin Quarter. Some day we might actually make it inside LOL
Pastamore' used to be a "must do" for us but IMHO it has gone down hill.
We do usually end up getting something from their counter service.

We like Nascar Grille and never really had a bad meal there but Margarittaville we had awful food there in June but after thinking about every place can have an off day but if you like Nacho's they do have the best and it called valcono nacho's and they are almost a meal in its self but guess we will give them another chance this July.

We had a lovely meal in NBA, DW kept putting it off, but she said she really enjoyed her meal. Nascar is not bad as is Bubba Gumps, Margaritaville was a bit to spicy for DD, but Pastamore was very good.
As has been said you could always go to the resort hotels, Tchoup tchoup is a bit to expensive for my liking, but we enjoyed quite a few meals at Islands, and also Jakes bar

What type of restaurant are you looking for, & how much are you willing to spend? IMHO, Emeril's @ CW is the best restaurant on Universal property. Naturally, it's also the most expensive CW restaurant, & only The Palm @ HRH compares in price. We also like the food at Latin Quarter. For atmosphere & good food, we like Pat Obrien's patio dining. The atmosphere at Margaritaville is loud, but also a lot of fun. The others would be a toss up to me, with Hard Rock Cafe being the only one I'd definitely avoid. We've never tried Bubba Gump's.

We've done Margaritaville, Bubba Gump's, Hard Rock Cafe, NBA City and Pastamore. Margaritaville is our favorite while Pastamore is our least favorite. Bubba Gump's and Hard Rock Cafe are pretty good too.

We've also eaten at Emeril's but kept it off this list because its a lot more expensive than the other Citywalk restaurants, has a dress code and almost always requires an advanced reservation for dinner. Having said that, it is quite an experience with multiple servers working your table. The food there is pretty good too.

Thanks. Pat O'Brians sounds promising. We are looking for more of a quiet atmosphere. Good to know that Pastamore is not great because we like Italian food and I would hate to be disappointed.

Take the quick boat ride to the portofino from city walk, and go to Sal's Market Deli. They have "real"pizza, and one of the best salad's (antipasto) I have ever eaten.

We were there yesterday and had lunch at Margaritaville and dinner at Bubba Gump. Bubba Gump gets my vote for best meal of our vacation. Great, fun atmoshere and excellent fod. Margaritaville was good but nothing spectacular.

We had our best meal at Margaratavlle (yes, even better than Emerils). The atmosphere at Bubba Gumps is alot of fun, but as a true Florida girl and self proclaimed seafood snob, their seafood was below average.

We also love TCBY for dessert!

Margarittaville was our favorite! The atmosphere was a lot of fun too!

we love Margaritaville here as well,we get the volcano nachos & me & the kids share this for lunch it is like 12.00 or something like that & it is very good & a cheap quick meal for lunch for us:thumbsup2

Pat O'Brien's is always a must do for us. Great food and atmosphere, especially their courtyard seating.

I always get suckered into visiting Bubba Gump in New York - the kids can't get enough. Pretty good, nothing spectacular, but affordable for sure. Be careful how you use the flip sign ("Run Forrest Run" etc.) The kids will play with it when we're not paying attention and next thing you know, some waiter is standing there staring at you
