CityPass VS. DL 3day w/Unlimited FastPasses

We are planning a trip to San Diego and then to Anaheim, July 26 - August 5. My brother lives in San Diego, so we will stay there 1st week with him before going up to Anaheim on August 1. We had planned on buying the 3day for the price of 5 including Unlimited Fast Passes. The cost of this is $125. I got a brochure from my brother with the City Pass advertised for $166 per adult/$127 per child. This includes 3 days at DL, 1 deluxe admission to the San Diego Zoo, 1 day visit to SeaWorld and 1 day visit to Knott's Berry Farm. This seems like a very good deal. Would we regret not having the Unlimited Fast Passes if we are in the Parks August 1-3.

Any advice will be appreciated.

This being a summer weekend, I'd say YES. It'll be extremely crowded, and theunlimited fastpass option qill make your trip much easier and relaxing.

Since you're planning on the weekend for Disneyland, I'd say that you'll have a good time without the Fastpasses but you have a MUCH better time with them. I'd splurge.

Just wondering, where did you get the price of $125.00 with the unlimited fastpass? I've seen the buy 3 days and get 5 for $119 and the other package for $166.00.

$125 is the price you are given when you go through the WD Travel Company or AAA. You are booking a ticket only package. I believe they add on a fee for shipping the tickets. This ticket also includes a free breakfast and some other bonus features.
