Any suggestions for adult entertainment on City Walk?

Since Pleasure Island is extra-lame, we need to look elsewhere.

We are looking for dance clubs/ bars. We are celebrating our graduation and it will be our first trip being able to legally drink. What are your favorite places?

Also, we are fans of Bob Marley, so would love to try Bob Marely:Tribute to Freedom. We would go after 10 probably, do we need to make a reservations? We are thinking about going on a Thursday.

Thanks!

If you're looking for dance clubs, make sure to check out the groove...just make sure they aren't having a teen night or you won't be allowed to enter. Check the website Mac provided for the details.

I enjoy the dueling paino bar at Pat O'Briens! It becomes standing room only on the weekends in the evening.

I can't tell you about the clubs, but I can tell you about the drinks.

Margaritaville has several different types of margaritas that are big and good. Emeril's has a really good wine list. Tchoup Chop has some really good martinis and mai tais. They also have alot of fruity drinks, as well as a good wine list.

I know we are on the Universal board, but WDW does have some really tasty drinks. Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge has the largest African wine list in the US. The cosmo martini at California Grill is the best ever. You can have a drink and watch Wishes. Kimonos at the Dolpin/Swan (can't remember which one, they are so much alike) has sake, sake, sake. There is bad kareoke there as well. Spoodles has great Sangria, but they will close soon. The Bellvue Room at the Boardwalk has a scotch sampling that is reasonably priced and will give you a good introduction to the whiskey.

I could give you alot more, but I'm sure others at US could tell you about some good ones.

Have fun on your first vacation as a legal drinker.:drinking1

I was disappointed to hear that The Adventurer's Club was closed along with the other Pleasure Island bars. I loved the Kunga Loosh (sic?)!

I haven't been in about 3 years(going next month), but last time I went, you could pay $20 for entry to all the CityWalk clubs. If you like Bob Marley, then you will love the club. I had soooo much fun. They had a live reggae band then, but I don't know if they have that all the time. They played damn near Bob Marley and The Wailers whole collection, and some original stuff. We went into The Groove, but we weren't really feeling that.

Sorry for tagging onto this thread with a slightly OT Citywalk question, but is there somewhere on CityWalk that you can buy a beer to drink while listening to the band on the central stage?

We're taking some friends over tonight to watch Orange Avenue on the Promenade stage, and I know they won't be happy if they can't grab a beer to drink while listening to the music. :rotfl2:

The party passes for all of the nightclubs in one night are $11.99 not $20.00. I like the piano bar at Pat o briens and Bob Marley. I also like Latin Quarter because I am hispanic and I like latin music. It really depends on your likes and tastes.

I guess the OP got the information she needed since she hasn't been back to post again. ;)

I am a full-time student with a full-time job about to graduate. I have a lot going on, and my trip is not my top priority right now.

Thanks everyone, this info was very helpful.

Very excited for Bob Marley :goodvibes
