A few questions!

We have tix for Blue Man Group on Dec 20th at 9p.
We are thinking we'll eat at City Walk before the show.
We will have the hotel priority seating as well.

Questions:
1) We just checked out Vivo and Dec 20th says full. Do they still take walk-ins and limit the reservations or does that indicate that there's no hope of getting a table?
2) Regardless of what restaurant we choose, how long do you think we should give ourselves?
3) Would a 7:30p reservation be sufficient?
4) If we can't get a reservation at all, what time should we show up at City Walk, if we hope to get a table at any of the restaurants?

As a 2nd choice, we are currently looking at cowfish, which doesn't look like it takes reservations, only waitlist when you're there. (Can you use the onsite hotel priority seating for Vivo or Cowfish?

Thank you so much for any help!!

We travel mostly during off season, so it may only be marginal help. One thing for sure is there is no benefit to getting to BMG before 8:30, at least not one I am aware of. We have been there on sold out nights, and it felt the same. They open the doors around 30 minutes before showtime and there is a major herd to get in the door. But once you are in the theater, it is relatively boring until showtime.

So, back your time up from a 8:40 arrival at BMG (let the initial push thin out a bit), five minute walk tops pending where you eat and the giddyup in your walk. On most nights, 7:30 is VERY comfortable reservation time, unless you are drinkers, then the amount of time for dinner and drinks might be a touch longer.

Only other item to consider is there a concession stand at BMG, think movie theater. If you are wanting a snack and a bottle of pop/water - there may be a line there. We always come from dinner as well, so I have never had to deal with that.

Keep in mind Priority seating is up to restaurant discretion. If it is a particularly busy night, they might not honor it. We have had this happen at mostly Margaritaville but I have heard it happen at others. If Vivo is booked, it could be a private party and there might not be anything that night .I would call

that is also the crazy busy peak week. Most restaurants in Citywalk are first come first served or walk up during the busy times.

Cowfish has their own app where you can get a virtual spot in line.
