Drat 9 Judys. :rotfl: I just cant win.

ETA I am going with 11. Including 2 in the video since the singer blocks her and then unblocks her. :)

Was just wondering if there was a part in "Oh Shenandoah" where the Voices of America singer raises the roof? I can totally see that! :rotfl:

And in the next picture, it looks as though "Judy is not impressed", as in "McKayla is not impressed".

Okay I didn't include the video , this is gonna be up to the rules committe so hurry up Glenn before Marv gets on and argues why he should win or who is really correct and as Magdalene is his favorite ......:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Aw gee Glenn, you totally could have borrowed my bathroom story. Then you could have used that title. Who would know?

Even though I'm not an Amurrican, if I happen to be in the area when the drum corp is out and the Pledge is happening I always make a point to stop and show respect. You all gave the world Disney, so it's the very least I can do.

"And the oldest has an invisible Celebration button!" Aww I still find that so sad that she never got acknowledged. But that was funny!! :rotfl2:

Bit of trivia for ya... Alexander Graham Bell died here in Nova Scotia.

9 Judy's counting the little one in the script

New: 9 Judys

I think I get an eagle eye too for spotting the tiny Judy!!!:rotfl2:

:sad::sad::sad::sad:

Rosie beat me. I can only blame the iPad. Screen too small!

Ok, 10 including the one in the video

Drat 9 Judys. :rotfl: I just cant win.

Looks like there was some fun back and forth there in that round. The Rules Committee is awarding this round's point to Magdalene, and giving an Eagle Eye point :magnify: to Rosie, since Magdalene pretty much admitted that she didn't see the in-text Judy until Rosie pointed it out. We have a precedence of counting only 1 Judy per video (as long as she appears in the video), but that was a nice try Pat!!

Updated scores:

Marvin - 19 Judy-sighting wins, 8 Eagle Eye points :magnify:
Pat - 6 Judy-sighting wins, 2 Eagle Eye points :magnify:
Mark - 5 Judy-sighting wins, 2 Eagle Eye points :magnify:
Dee - 4 Judy-sighting wins, 1 Eagle Eye point :magnify:
Dan - 4 Judy-sighting wins, 4 Eagle Eye points :magnify:
Rosie - 4 Judy-sighting wins, 4 Eagle Eye points :magnify:
Magdalene - 3 Judy-sighting wins, 1 Eagle Eye point :magnify:
Kelly - 3 Judy-sighting wins
Katharina - 3 Judy-sighting wins
Mary Ellen - 2 Judy-sighting wins
Jenn (elphie101) - 1 Judy-sighting win, First Subscriber Honors!
Tanya - 1 Judy-sighting win
Molly - 1 Judy-sighting win
Kathy - 1 Judy-sighting win
MissLiz - 1 Judy-sighting win
Andy - 1 Judy-sighting win
sesame_123 - 1 Eagle Eye point :magnify:

I think the first time I saw them, on the trip before this one, there was a song that was more of a "bring the house down" kind of thing. I can't remember what song it was though. I even think it was that singer whose hands were blurry in that one photo.

And in the next picture, it looks as though "Judy is not impressed", as in "McKayla is not impressed".

:rotfl2: Ha ha! That really does look like the same expression! But I think that Judy was more impressed by the Voices of Liberty than McKayla was with her silver medal.

The Rules Committee has ruled! And went with Marv's favorite, even without his arguments. :upsidedow

Thanks Rob! Okay everybody, so Rob accidentally went into the ladies room. ;)

Aw thanks! And you guys have a very nice national anthem. ::yes::

"And the oldest has an invisible Celebration button!" Aww I still find that so sad that she never got acknowledged. But that was funny!! :rotfl2:

:)

Bit of trivia for ya... Alexander Graham Bell died here in Nova Scotia.

You heard it here first, folks -- Canada killed Alexander Graham Bell.

No, no. It's 'MURICA.

Oh man, you're right! I struggled with how to put that down at the keyboard. You nailed it. Well, at least I know that you were saying it in your head how I was trying to convey it. :thumbsup2

Very patriotic update. We love the Voices of Liberty the few times we've caught them. I have to admit I haven't made it through the American Experience yet. I've tried a few time but have always ended up nodding off. Not that the show isn't great but sitting in the nice comfortable chairs in the ac always does me in.

It's nice to read A Salute to All Nations, but mostly 'Murica! ;)

Well nuts :squirrel: I figured Magdalene got the point but I had to guess something different even though the precedence was there. Either that or a reflection. ;)

I'll settle for the eagle eye point !!!I only have 4 more of them to catch up to Marv and his maxi Magnifying glass !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Another idea came from Marlene. She played a piece in band called "Within these hallowed halls" that supposedly comes from the American Experience show (although it is not mentioned on the Wikipedia page for it). She said, "You could call it 'Within these hallowed stalls!' If only we had a bathroom story." Yes Marlene, if only.

Well, if you had combined this update with a visit to the Moroccan fountain you COULD have used that name! Just sayin.

I love the American Adventure and the Voices of Liberty. I've missed them the last couple visits, so they are definitely on the list for October.

Those kids standing with the Fife and Drum corps are adorable. Love that.

I hope its easier to for you to name your next update.

Nice update! You got some great shots of the Fife and Drum Corps, and I agree those kids are just too cute! :goodvibes

Love the Voices of Liberty. They are just so talented, and so inspiring!

Impeccable timing as usual! I just knew you were due to post an update! We had some very severe storms roll through yesterday, and once the satellite signal started going out on the TV, and with all the lightning in the area, I shut down everything including the surge protectors! :scared1: (a little overkill maybe?) :rolleyes2

When I finally got around to powering everything back up, and rebooting the computer, it was too late to even venture a guess......... :(

Congrats to my favorite, Magdalene!

So does this make Rosie the bridesmaid this time? I hate to even think about that possibility! Would we end up with pictures of Rosie lap dancing the Father of the Bride, or would she just photobomb a pic of the Bride and Groom and just plop down in the poor Groom's lap??? :faint:

I'll settle for the eagle eye point !!!I only have 4 more of them to catch up to Marv and his maxi Magnifying glass !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
With your eyes Rosie, I'm guessing you would need something much, much stronger!!! :lmao:

Well, if you had combined this update with a visit to the Moroccan fountain you COULD have used that name! Just sayin.
:rotfl:

We love, love, love Voices of Liberty! We usually get there a little early and sit right on the floor where they tell everyone to move up to and giggle at all the crazy looks we get from people who think we just plopped ourselves down in the middle of the room. :rotfl2:

I think the guy on the far right is the one who sang to my oldest daughter on our last trip. And then she had to stand up and introduce herself to the crowd. She's extremely shy, so, of course, my husband and I were loving it.

We use the Amurrican Experience to let the girls cool down and rest for a bit, but I like it. I tear up every stinking time! I'm such a mess.

She said, "You could call it 'Within these hallowed stalls!' If only we had a bathroom story." Yes Marlene, if only. ....By the way, you're going to make a great trip report writer someday.

As one of the resident experts in toilet humor, this kid really has potential.:thumbsup2

But if you're wearing red, white, and blue underwear,

 How did you know?!

This is "Amurrica".

You can even shorten it to 'Murrica.

Okay, at ease. You can put your hats back on. (You did take them off for that little soliloquy, didn't you?)

I imagined you with the Patton-style big flag behind you and a band slowly playing Amurrica the Beautiful.

Check out the hidden Mickey on the side of that snare drum!

Nice catch!:thumbsup2

I've seen most of the singers before, but there were a few who were new to me. They still sounded great though. The acoustics in this room are perfect for them.

They really are great.

From there, we went up the escalator to the theater to see The American Experience. I took a few pictures, but didn't go too crazy.

They turned out really well! Mine would have been blurry, I'm sure of it.

Very patriotic update.

I should've timed it to post on July 4th, but then I would've had to write way faster or waaaay slower. ;)

I can understand that, after a busy day at Epcot; Future World in the morning, halfway around World Showcase in the afternoon, comfy chairs and ac and that's all it takes. Zzzzzz.

It's nice to read A Salute to All Nations, but mostly 'Murica! ;)

:rotfl2: Yes! Thanks Jill.

Well nuts :squirrel: I figured Magdalene got the point but I had to guess something different even though the precedence was there. Either that or a reflection. ;)

You were close, as usual!

I'll settle for the eagle eye point !!!I only have 4 more of them to catch up to Marv and his maxi Magnifying glass !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

:goodvibes

Ah yes, the ol' "You're in Morocco" chapter. :teeth:

I love the American Adventure and the Voices of Liberty. I've missed them the last couple visits, so they are definitely on the list for October.

:thumbsup2

Those kids standing with the Fife and Drum corps are adorable. Love that.

I like the first picture, where the little girl in the front row is looking at the boy next to her rather than the flag.

I hope its easier to for you to name your next update.

These are the things I struggle with! :rotfl2:

Nice update! You got some great shots of the Fife and Drum Corps, and I agree those kids are just too cute! :goodvibes

They were cute, and it's such an easy way to get them involved and make a memory.

Love the Voices of Liberty. They are just so talented, and so inspiring!

Agreed!

You were Amish for a couple of hours.

Congrats to my favorite, Magdalene!

What good sportsmanship.

So does this make Rosie the bridesmaid this time? I hate to even think about that possibility! Would we end up with pictures of Rosie lap dancing the Father of the Bride, or would she just photobomb a pic of the Bride and Groom and just plop down in the poor Groom's lap??? :faint:

I guess she's the bridesmaid this round :bride: and Pat is the flower girl. :flower3:

:thumbsup2 It's good to know the routine! That's kinda like going into the "recording studio" in the pre-show of RnRC and moving all the way to the left, knowing that you'll be at the front of the line. Except just about everyone knows that trick now; Voices of Liberty not so much.

I think the guy on the far right is the one who sang to my oldest daughter on our last trip. And then she had to stand up and introduce herself to the crowd. She's extremely shy, so, of course, my husband and I were loving it.

Awesome! I'll bet that was a fun moment.

We use the Amurrican Experience to let the girls cool down and rest for a bit, but I like it. I tear up every stinking time! I'm such a mess.

Aw! You're a true Amurrican!

As one of the resident experts in toilet humor, this kid really has potential.:thumbsup2

Thank you! Coming from you Captain_O, this really means a lot!!!

 How did you know?!

Everybody in Delaware knows that they have to salute your clothesline on wash day.

You can even shorten it to 'Murrica.

Dang. Everybody knew that 'cept me!

I imagined you with the Patton-style big flag behind you and a band slowly playing Amurrica the Beautiful.

Americans love a winner!
salute.gif

Nice catch!:thumbsup2

:magnify:

They really are great.

::yes::

They turned out really well! Mine would have been blurry, I'm sure of it.

Thanks. 'Course these were the best of the bunch. :rolleyes2
