City, Sand, and Savanna - Link to new trip report

:rotfl: Love the dumb look in the picture. It's perfect!

(And btw, I'm still here and reading! Just quiet! :ssst: )

You certainly did! :rotfl2:

Maybe a little too good. I'd love to put a quote from "Tropic Thunder" in here, but it'd be really un-PC.

Great update! Everyone looks like they are having a total blast! Love it. I might need to drive one of those cars after all!

Hitting up against that rail, they'll make you question your own driving skills.

Hmmm... I thought it would be Stitch.

Funny, that didn't even come to mind!

They didn't use that bit of comedy gold? Go figure. :rolleyes1

A whole piece of Laffy Taffy wasted. Except for the taffy.

Such a sacrifice. I guess somebody has to do it! :thumbsup2

Yeah. Poor me.

Hey, the radio is the second priorty next to turning on the A/C.:lmao:

You forgot checking your makeup in the mirror. For the girls I mean, of course.

What's the worst he could do? :confused3:rotfl:

I almost commented on the size of the shock absorbers on the bumpers. Did you notice those things? Huge!

It is subtle...

:rotfl2:

What's wrong with Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock? :confused3 :lmao:

I always forget what the lizard does.

Well, they didn't get to see the comparison! :rotfl2::lmao:

No, but they busted a gut.

Give 'em about 10 or 15 years. :thumbsup2

They're probably going, "Dang, another story leaked on the Disboards!"

It's a shame that Lauren missed out on Rapunzel, but nice use of a Jim Gaffigan bit to add to the story! :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

He's a much funnier writer than I am, so quoting him is an easy (yet lame) way to make this drivel a little more interesting.

good update glenn i enjoyed it, and your faces...well...nevermind,

You loved them too, right? Right?! :scared:

the best thing about this update is marv has no idea you were going to do a middle of the page update.
:thumbsup2

I had become too predictable. Thought I'd shake things up a little.

Hey, I don't think you ever commented after I mentioned you when I talked about the Hall of Presidents a couple of chapters ago. You might've missed it. Or you might have politely decided not to comment. :rotfl2:

uh huh...all the fun things...not the hang with the sick kid tired parent things...:rotfl:

Hey, I'll admit it -- women are just plain better at some things than men. First and foremost is nurturing sick kids. And truth be told, she was tired and ready to go too. It was a no-brainer decision who'd stay and who'd go.

Those are some fun speedway pics! We haven't done it in years, never feel like waiting in the line but it looks like they all had a blast.

That line is always super-long. They were in line when we were waiting to get into Monsters, and then we got through the whole show and I made it up to the Speedway in time to get pictures of them on the ride! Crazy.

Well done, well done! Your nephew is totally cracking me up!

He's a character. Part class-clown, part surfer-dude, and fun to have around. :goodvibes

Pretty funny that someone though it was "real" :rotfl:

If I'd have known I'd have taken some pictures of their reaction. They lost it, then took off so they could really laugh away from me.

Awww poor Lauren! Isn't it bizarre when our kids throw us like that, something we assume won't be that big of a deal, in fact is. In a way though it's pretty cool...shows they are still kids if that makes sense.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Very endearing, my first princess:. If I had known that she wanted a picture with her I could have told her where to find her, but they were off doing their own thing for almost the whole day.

Besides, Boma makes everything better.

or more specifically, Boma soups make my world better!

Mmmmm. It's been a while since I've made their carrot ginger soup. I might have to, one of these days.

:rotfl: Love the dumb look in the picture. It's perfect!

(And btw, I'm still here and reading! Just quiet! :ssst: )

Hey Kelly! Great to see you, it's been a while. Quiet is fine, I'm just glad to know you're still reading along. Are those some new review-links in your signature? I'll have to check them out!

Yes, I think I have mastered the art of the "dumb look". I'm trying to figure out how to work that into my resume.

2 updates sooo close !!! I have to retire so I can be on top of this:rotfl2:But I agree 0 Judy's !!!!! At least Marv didn't get it :worship::rotfl2:

Awww Glenn you're such a great dad staying behind at Magic Kingdom. :goodvibes

I don't know, both SM photos look the same to me... :rotfl2:

But honestly, some of the best onride photos are from SM when people don't know about the camera (or forget). I don't know how many I've seen where people look ready to fall asleep since the ride hasn't really even started. :lmao:

You got some great leaving SM monitor shots too. :thumbsup2

Okay I am all caught up again. I thought this report was over for some reason.

Loved all the pics. The eye one in HM was awesome.

Ok, I saw this and am questioning the picture.

In the 7th pic down look in the upper right-----is that woman driving on the right (as in wrong) side of the car?

Boy Glenn you really are the man. Constantly taking one for the team and staying in the park to chaperon the teenagers. Or are they really making sure you don't overdo it?

Glad your SIL gave up a SM fastpass before any blood was spilled. That could have been ugly.

I have never seen Tangled. I had never seen Up until just before we went to DL in February either. Good thing I saw it as otherwise I would not have had a clue who Kevin was. Might have to watch Tangled before our October trip so I can appreciate the new bathroom :lmao:

Okay I am off topmorrow, just have a dentist appointment so should have time to be FIRAST for the next update:rotfl2:

That’s awesome that I’m inspiring people to retire. :rotfl:

Hey, on a side note, I see on Instagram that Jordan is at DHS today with his cousin Wendy and her hubby Derek and the kids. :goodvibes

Awww Glenn you're such a great dad staying behind at Magic Kingdom. :goodvibes

With Fathers Day coming up, I hope they remember.

I don't know, both SM photos look the same to me... :rotfl2:

Aw, you too Rob? Jumping on the bashwagon? (I just made that up!)

But honestly, some of the best onride photos are from SM when people don't know about the camera (or forget). I don't know how many I've seen where people look ready to fall asleep since the ride hasn't really even started. :lmao:

Gracias.

Okay I am all caught up again. I thought this report was over for some reason.

Oh no...we’ve still got Boma, an Epcot day, a Universal day, the Luau, and departure. :thumbsup2

Loved all the pics. The eye one in HM was awesome.

Great! Thanks Scott.

I didn’t notice that but yes, it looks like they have some cars for the Brits, who prefer banging up against the center rail with the steering wheel on the right.

Clearly she was - and I was not. :lmao: Way to go MEK Congrats.

I’m sure you were busy saving a drowning kid or handling a “code brown” or something like that. ;)

Boy Glenn you really are the man. Constantly taking one for the team and staying in the park to chaperon the teenagers. Or are they really making sure you don't overdo it?

They might be there to chaperone me? Hmmm, that would explain why Judy slipped them some money.

Glad your SIL gave up a SM fastpass before any blood was spilled. That could have been ugly.

Yes, I could’ve pulled out some of the moves I learned in the Japanese Pavilion from our last trip, if you remember this picture:

Both are great movies. “Up” is such a feel-good movie, but for pure entertainment, I’d have to give the nod to “Tangled”.

Okay I am off topmorrow, just have a dentist appointment so should have time to be FIRAST for the next update:rotfl2:

Has your appointment already occurred? I was hoping to post a chapter while you were in the chair, but unfortunately, I don’t have one ready to go.

You just take about 8 steps forward, and you're at the Country Bear Jamboree. Yes, yes, I know that I took a picture with Dan (FantleroyFan07) and Candi the trip before this one, right there at the Country Bear. What can I say? It just didn't resonate at the time.

maybe thats because you were still flustered over how your phone was sending me messages way after you actually sent them to me, and i thought you were still in tomorrow land while you were actually over by splash.

:snooty:

hall of presidents? you mean the country bear jamboree? i didnt see the hall of presidents comment.
never mind found it and commented below.

During the presentation, I heard a quote that immediately made me think of my good DIS-friend Dan, FauntleroyFan07. It was by Andrew Jackson and he said something like, "It is a poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell a word." I had to laugh. Dan, you just might have what it takes to be President one day!

thanks for the confidence that i could one day be president glenn, but i dont think i would pass the background check especially when they start to ask if i know anyone that could possibly embarrass me from my past, well i have met you and im sure that would a sure fire way of getting me kicked out of the running.:thumbsup2

If by "new" you mean a few months ago, then yes :rolleyes1

I started a new job and have had less time to write on my blog. In a few days I should have up our experience at the new Simpsons area at Universal!

It was like "Winnie the Pooh and the Flustery Day".

Good.

You're probably right. Lots of follow-up questions would arise once they find out that we've met. And then there's Marv.

I read 'em...good stuff! I wouldn't last too long in a drinking-around-the-world excursion, but it sounds like fun.

I'll keep an eye out for the next one.

Hi Glenn! Loved your MK day! Pappy is just too funny - Thunder Mountain "adventurous". :goodvibes
We are Pecos Bill's fans but I'm not offended. It is so chaotic, though. We really should try CHH - it seems I've read that no one knows about the upstairs there - is that the one???
Thanks for the reminder about the secret passage - I think we've done it by accident, also and then forgotten on the next trip.

Also, thanks for the heads up about where to meet Rapunzel - our little princess is doing BBB and has been growing her hair out for the occasion and has the Rapunzel dress, so we really have to try to find her.

Sorry James wasn't feeling well - I hope it was short lived?
