Hi! We will be renting a stroller for our upcoming visit to wdw.

Should I rent a city mini or a city mini gt

it seems the only difference is the weight and handle bar? Which did you prefer at disney and why??

we will be traveling with a one year old

Thank you!

I think with a one year old you could get the city mini. The gt can just hold a heavier weight. We rented the gt since it could hold up to 65 pounds and my 5 year old son is pushing 50 pounds. (and we ended up only using it once or twice at night).

Mini - you'll appreciate the fact that it weighs less when you're getting on and off buses.

I would say Mini GT. The adjustable handlebar makes it worth it - my husband and I prefer vasty different handlbar heights and we adjust it depending on who is pushing. If you opt for the Mini, you might want to try one in a store to ensure the handlebar height is comfortable for you.

We have owned both and brought both to Disney. We love our GT though! It is literally like pushing our DS on a cloud. We love the adjustable handlebar and the hand brake. The buckle system is a little more convoluted than the plain mini, but manageable.

We own a GT and love it. My DH is 6'4" and I'm 4'11" so the adjustable handle bar was a must. We actually rented one on our last trip because I didn't want anything to happen to mine!

This. The people pushing ours were 5'2", 6'2" and 6'4". The ability to change the handlebar height was a HUGE factor.

We have a Citi Mini GT. Love it. Would highly recommend it. It moves easily and love the fact that the handlebar is adjustable. Its so easy to fold, which is a huge plus.

We rented the GT on our last trip and I almost teared up leaving it lol I loved that stroller and so did my son. I'm debating renting one on our next trip because he will be 6. Is that too old for a stroller?? I'm sure he would love to be pushed around but is doing the parks stroller free easier?? You will love either one you choose :)
